I have two tall (57") filing cabinets that a friend gave us for free a few years ago. They are ugly and a bit beat up, but functional. I've been seeing videos recently of people refinishing their furniture using peel and stick wallpaper so I thought I'd give it a try with this Heroad wood wallpaper. The project to finish just one cabinet took me about 2 hours to complete, but, besides it being a large cabinet, it took a while to figure out how to properly install this paper. The paper is thick. So much so that it was hard to fold around corners and edges and stay in place. The plastic-ness of it meant that it broke (not tore) if I tried to hard to pull and mold it. It also didn't stick well for pieces that were folded around corners unless there were a few inches of cabinet for it to hold on to. This was getting very frustrating until I figured out a trick. I used a hair dryer on the high setting to help soften the paper and make the glue melt a little. This helped tremendously. I was able to cleanly fold over the edges and have them stay stuck. Although no one will be mistaken about this being a wood cabinet, it looks so much better with the paper on, it was worth the effort that I'm glad to show it off. I also spray painted the hardware black to update the whole look. Pros of this paper: Very thick so it covers small imperfections and dark colors Nice woodgrain look Seams meld together well and are almost unnoticeable Works great on flat surfaces Excellent grid on back for easy measuring and cutting Cuts well with scissors or blade Cons of this paper: Very thick so it doesn't mold well around corners or edges Breaks (tears) The color is a bit different than on the computer monitor I will be covering the second cabinet now that I have mastered the first one. Overall, I would buy this paper again, but only for flat surfaces like walls or table tops that require no folding or shaping. I would not recommend this paper for covering any furniture that has shapes or curves.

This is a good quality product at a very attractive price. It was easy to measure and install since they have grid in the back. It makes is a lot quicker to measure and cut straight.

Ok i thought this was going to be the 70-80's style contact paper,, it is,, but it isn't. Its as easy to use as before, but the colors looked more realistic than decades before. It looks real. You still need a straight edge to apply it evenly with no Bubbles, but we've had it installed for a while now and it still looks great, we put it on shelves that have heavy canisters on them, hoping it would help to slide better, and the durability of this paper is great. Really updated and brightened our cabinet interiors. Would definitely buy this again

The media could not be loaded. This was so easy . Simply cut to fit and installed with a card . Of course it’s a temporary fix. I love that it comes In So many varieties. It was a considerable amount on one roll. I was able to apply the sticker to three different drawers . P.s this helped me get my deposit back in full when I moved out 😁

I know contact paper is just thar- paper however this color and design does not look as expected. It was very cheap looking and very thin. Also would barely cover a table. Not worth purchasing in my opinion.

So I had used an adhesive paper towel roll holder and had to remove it… of course the Command like sticker removed some of the particle board covering with it. I forgot to take a before picture, but: 1st pic is the contact paper I’m review on which took maybe 5 minutes total. The 2nd pic is another cabinet bottom for comparison. The 3rd is the ice tray cover I used to make sure no bubbles 😂
