Changing brands or trying different deodorants shouldn't be a stress-filled endeavor. Will it work? Does it smell right? The biggest concern when choosing any new personal product these days is whether or it's a healthy choice. You don't want to grow a tail or turn sparkly green over night. My review is for the forest scent which I have used regularly for well over a month before writing this review. I purchased two sticks and am still using the first. PROS: Herban Cowboy is safe, fully natural and best of all effective. The forest scent isn't over powering, flowery or weird smelling. It's a bright woodsy smell that's very attractive and alluring. The stick spreads well, appears to last an acceptable amount of time. It doesn't stain, flake or get gummy on your skin. The manufacturer has taken great steps to provide a fantastic product. CONS: Ok, so you ask yourself why you would spend so much on deodorant? If you're looking at your old speed stick then glancing at your wallet, that's probably your primary thought. Yes, there is some sticker shock, I'll be honest. However, like all natural products, acquiring organic sources and producing a quality product on a small scale is expensive. All I can say here is to take a leap of faith and try a single stick. This is my go to deodorant. Just know what this product doesn't contain chemicals unlike other major brands. The typical big brand deodorant is anti-perspirant with phthalates, alumnium and triclosans which means it'll last all day/night, but this Herban Cowboy deodorant probably won't last throughout the day. With that being said, I still love the product because I like the subtle scent and that it doesn't leave my white shirts with yellow arm pit stains like other deodorant brands. ... show more

It smells good when you put it on, but working in a mild 63-70 degree environment I quickly smell like I used nothing at all. I'm going to have to keep looking

It was a hard decision after searching for a good alternative to those deodorants full of harmful ingredients. The scent while pleasant is not very strong and doesn't seem to last long but it does seem to fight bad odor under normal conditions at least because haven't had a chance to try under strenuous conditions. I'd say this is a decent deodorant and you can't go wrong with it. A bit pricey but so are all other similar products in the market. ... show more

I’ve bought my husband non toxic deodorant before, one was Native brand, magnesium. That was amazing. He didn’t let me know he was running out and wanted one soon, without going to the store lol, so I ordered this, as It was the only one that could be delivered the next day. It smells good, but doesn’t last long and seems to make him smell even more after he sweats this off. I’m not a fan and my husband is smelly lol. Don’t recommend, sorry. ... show more

I have the cologne of this same brand and both smell great. Unfortunately, as a deodorant it did not perform well for me. The positives was that its a vegan brand and left little to no white stains. However the biggest issue is that it doesn't last with its scent or preventing you from smelling. I'm fairly active and have a job thay keeps me moving, but I would end up smelling by midday and need to really at least 2-3x a day.
