I am very generous with applying lotion all over my body on a daily basis (especially in winter when it's so dry in the NE!), so I go through lots of containers of the stuff. And I have used numerous brands over the years. I do love Hempz products, in general - they're light going on, not too greasy, and provide a good amount of hydration - but this particular scent is AMAZING! I've had friends/colleagues stop me to ask me what scent I am wearing when I walk by them.     • Love Hempz lotion but the Sandalwood Apple secent was not for me
I am not going to take stars away from this product because I really like Hempz lotion. It's just that the Sandalwood Apple scent was not for me. I felt the sandalwood was too strong and did not like the apple scent pairing with it. I have had many other Hempz lotions and I have liked all the previous scents so I feel like it's unfair to take away a star because of my personal preference. The lotion is great. It absorbs nicely, doesn't feel greasy and doesn't just sit on top of my skin like other lotions. I still recommend it even though this particular scent was a miss for me ... show more

Love this lotion, the feel going on is so soft, moisturizing is fabulous, the scent is Devine, but not overpowering I get SO MANY compliments, even had this sweet old man in passing tell me I smelt like candy, even a receptionist stop to ask me, where and what are you wearing? And then to actually comment on this, is that I’m only wearing lotion ... show more

    • Smells great, awesome moisture, but makes me a bit itchy
This is a great product. It smells really great! The natural apple comes through strong, as well as the sandalwood (but it smells more apple-ish). A little goes a long way. I only had to use a small amount to moisturize both of my hands. The smell and moisture both last a long time. This lotion makes your skin very soft to touch, as it really does it’s job! I am left without the oily-ness that many lotions - which is important to me because I can’t stand it. The only issue with this product is that it makes my skin burn and itchy when I use it. My skin gets a bit red, and my eyes get a bit itchy as well. I’m not sure if it’s an allergic reaction or not (I’ve been allergy tested and I don’t have any allergies that I know of). It could just be that I have sensitive skin, or am allergic to one of the ingredients without knowing it. This is the only reason I am giving this product four stars. If not for that, I would give five stars. ... show more

    • Gotta pump it alot but it does work
When I first used it, I had to pump it ALOT to finally get it to come out to start. The smell is good kind of strong but unless your sensitive to that it'll be fine. Leaves very little oil on my hands as well so it has become my go to for daytime use. As a mechanic with very dry skin but also sensitive skin (I know wrong profession for that) it has done wonders for daily use. ... show more

I have a lot of skin allergies, especially to anything with propane glycol in it which none of the hempzproducts have any propylene glycol in them anyway so I used several different things made by this company but this lotion I love above all!!!!!! it goes on well it’s not greasy, but it smells wonderful.
