Full disclosure: I am one of those folks who are highly sensitive to smells, sounds, touch….that being said, Hempz lotions are normally pretty mild smelling. This one smells like really strong men’s aftershave….ugh. I will be giving this one away, and ordering one that I know isn’t smelly.

This is awesome! It’s moisturizing and soaks in, the sandalwood is extremely strong at first and then after a few minutes it matures to be sweeter!

    • Smells great, awesome moisture, but makes me a bit itchy
This is a great product. It smells really great! The natural apple comes through strong, as well as the sandalwood (but it smells more apple-ish). A little goes a long way. I only had to use a small amount to moisturize both of my hands. The smell and moisture both last a long time. This lotion makes your skin very soft to touch, as it really does it’s job! I am left without the oily-ness that many lotions - which is important to me because I can’t stand it. The only issue with this product is that it makes my skin burn and itchy when I use it. My skin gets a bit red, and my eyes get a bit itchy as well. I’m not sure if it’s an allergic reaction or not (I’ve been allergy tested and I don’t have any allergies that I know of). It could just be that I have sensitive skin, or am allergic to one of the ingredients without knowing it. This is the only reason I am giving this product four stars. If not for that, I would give five stars. ... show more

I am honestly not impressed with the formula and the scent (sandalwood and apple) is awful. It smells like the Cracker Barrel gift shop. I’m sure older ladies would like that, but it is not appealing to young people.
