This is the rare scented lotion I reach for every day. The grandkids and the yard are hard on my skin, especially my hands and elbows, and most drugstore creams require a long time to soak in and dry. Eucerin and Jergens both did that to me. This Hempz is light for how much moisture it delivers, and it sinks in fast. One pump covers both arms and legs. It dries within about two minutes, so I can get dressed right after a shower without anything clinging. My skin has stayed soft all day, even after hours in the sun and dirt. Here is what sold me. I am sensitive to fragrance, and most scented lotions give me trouble — this one does not. It comes on without being overpowering straight from the bottle, then settles into a soft sweetness after an hour. Loud at first, easy after. That softening is likely why I tolerate it. My one real gripe is once the pump stops reaching, that last bit seems nearly impossible to get without a couple minutes of shaking the bottle. So for a summer daily moisturizer with a scent I can actually notice and appreciate, this earns its spot on my vanity. ... show more

Very good at moisturizing dry skin. I have psoriasis and this product works as well as the expensive recommended brands that I’ve purchased for much more. I apply it after towel drying getting out of the shower. This lotion is quickly absorbed by the skin after a shower and has a pleasant scent but not overwhelming. Honestly my first thought was "It smells like a grandma scent" The vanilla serves as a background scent with the plum and lily of the valley as more foreground scent but it all blends together well. However, it's hard to pick up on the scent because it's so mild. It's a thin lotion. Silky application. Decent moisturizer. Can barely feel that its there. Absolutely Love this Lotion. It is great and hydrates your skin. I have been using this lotion since my early 20s. I refuse to use any other. My favorite smell is the vanilla plum in the buttercream cake. I also really like coconut watermelon as well . My favorite is actually just the original I used to buy a gallon jugs. apparently you guys must not sell them anymore. Best lotion smell ever.. I have always loved the vanilla plum.     • One of the Few Lotions My Sensitive Skin Can Actually Handle

I’ve used Hempz lotions for years at this point and they’re still one of my absolute favorite body lotions, especially because I have sensitive skin and react badly to a lot of heavily fragranced products. What I love most is that the scents smell really good and are noticeable without being overpowering. A lot of scented lotions either smell too artificial or are so strong they give me a headache, but Hempz somehow keeps the fragrance balanced really well. The lotion itself also feels much better quality compared to cheaper brands. It absorbs nicely, keeps my skin moisturized for a long time, and doesn’t leave behind that greasy or sticky feeling some lotions do. Most importantly, it doesn’t irritate my skin or cause breakouts/rashes. The price is definitely a little more expensive than basic drugstore lotions, but honestly I think it’s worth it because the quality difference is noticeable. The only thing that sometimes frustrates me is that they seem to change the bottle designs and packaging pretty often. It can make it confusing trying to make sure I’m ordering the exact scent/version I wanted since the bottles don’t always look the same over time. Overall though, this is one of the few lotion brands I consistently repurchase and trust for sensitive skin. ... show more
