Really like them. Over all great fit, feels great walking all day no fatigue. They seem very durable and are pretty light in weight. Good material as so your feet can breathe. They are kinda like slip ones in a sense. Yes they do have laces but you put them on like a sock if that make sense!

    • Pretty good ankle support!

I don't have extensive experience with this kind of sock-with-a-sole style shoe, but I picked these because 1: they are pretty cheap compared to other options 2: They seemed to have some ankle support, unlike very many of this kind of shoe. I'm pleased to announce that they do! They're much softer than the roller-blades they are otherwise reminiscent of, but they still hold your heel in place and generally don't allow for a large amount of lateral shifting. I was concerned that they would be sort of formless bags with a sole that you could slide off of like the last pair of ultralight shoes I tried was. They are not though! These do a solid job of keeping you centered on their sole-platform. They're exceptionally light, being largely a stretchy sock-like fabric supported by a medium soft rubber sub-assembly. The sole is springy in a strange way, but not so much so that I find it particularly distracting. I'm also pretty impressed with the sticky-ness of the sole. It grips the floors very well out of the box. We'll see how it holds up to a few extended walks on the local walking paths though. Billed as "running shoes" I'm hoping that they'll hold up for a season or two, if not a year. Aesthetically, once your pants come down over them they're not actually particularly intrusive. I could see them sticking out from an outfit if you were wearing shorts, but I would urge you, men, to see that as a good thing. So many of us are absolute cowards with our appearance and doing something interesting with your feet might actually be good for you. As for being waterproof: this is unknown, but also certainly they are not If the stretchy sock-like fabric these are made of ends up being water-tight I'll buy a second pair on the spot, ankle deep in the water that isn't on my feet. As to whether the glues that hold the shoe together will survive such treatment remains to be seen. [Update 1: 1 day after owning] Good fortune! It has rained, and sure enough puddle jumping is not for these shoes. HOWEVER, they have yet to self destruct, and the soles are tall enough that unless you're walking through some kind of puddle you should remain dry enough. Still very pleased with these shoes and their willingness to stay put on your feet despite being so generally soft. ... show more

Amazing. Fit well. Look cool. Easy to slip on! Bottom of shoes DOES feel weird to drive in. If you’re wide footed then be wary you’ll have to break them in as they might feel uncomfortable for a first few wears. Bought 2 pairs since the first pair.

I was buying these to go with a cyberpunk outfit but for me the shoe was too narrow the length was right but too much pressure on the sides of my foot. Will be looking elsewhere for a wider shoe.

These are the first pair of shoes that I bought with the intention of using explicitly for a specific outfit/style. I have to say. They have far exceeded any expectations I had. These though? Wow. These are the epitome of comfortable shoes. The coup d'état of the shoe industry. The Magnum Opus of footwear. I have absolutely no cons, so I will list the things I love about these shoes: + THE HIGH TOP DESIGN | They're high-top shoes, and normally, that means they are a pain in the ass to put on. A whole mess of untying and adjusting shoelaces to get your foot into the shoe, only to redo all of it to ensure a snug fit. However, these shoes are engineered very smartly. The top is a very wearable, breathable, stretchy fabric, and the loop at the back for slipping them on is PERFECT. I can barely even tell I'm wearing high-tops, they're so comfy. + SPONGEY BOTTOM | I have NEVER encountered shoes with a bottom like these. And as everything else, I am blown away. Walking on these shoes feels like walking on a very comfortable sponge. I can't really describe it accurately, but even my own steps have never been so comfortable. + THE QUALITY | You are buying these shoes for an absolute steal. The quality far exceeds most brands (Adidas, Nike, Sketchers, etc) and the price tag is SO. Much. CHEAPER. These shoes are an absolute steal. + THE DESIGN | These shoes are, to say the least, INSANELY sleek and fashionable. They are by-far the most unique and nice-looking shoes I own. The first shoes I've owned where you can just be walking and have someone say "Hey, nice shoes!" It's a great feeling. What are you waiting for... BUY THESE! First, I'm covering walking; when you first put them on, they feel different. It made me enjoy walking. After I immediately ran, every step felt more explosive than the last I could jump higher than I ever could 2-4 feet higher. The shoe size was perfect. They fit and were snug. I bought them in a 10. They didn't look like a 10. They looked like nine. Most shoes have a substantial outer shoe that will lead you to be made fun of for a big feat. Still, they're shoes that look just right. on the topic of appearances; they look lovely on the outside. You won't get made fun of for them. They look better in person. I showed my mom, and she asked the price. I said 43 dollars. She was amazed and said they looked more expensive now she wants a pair. For the final rating comfort, they felt snug as a bug, very comfortable I just wanted to keep them on, but I snapped out of it and took them off to save for later not to wear them out. When I was putting them up, I peeked inside, and I was genuinely amazed at the terrific padding. Here is a bonus durability and grip. They're durable but not much. I wouldn't advise bending your ankle sideways towards the ground because the glue doesn't look very promising, but when I wear them, the glue feels very strong. For grip, it has a lot. I did a running jump; I barely slid when I went on the ground. They were like futuristic shoes. They stopped themselves. It was like I was lunged in a forward motion. Message to Hello Mrlin: I wouldn't call these just tennis shoes overall sports. I do plan to use them for flag football and basketball if I ever make the NBA pray I might shoes banned wearing them.
