How can this thing be both soft AND firm? We slept in this bed in a rental for a weekend and I spent almost a year trying to pull the trigger. I am SO glad I finally did! This was my first time buying a mattress for myself. At first I was overwhelmed by how many options and types were out there. I only cared about the comfort and keeping it cool. First off, the mattress comes rolled up and easy to carry. Once you open it, it fills up fast and firm. I’ve been using it for at least a year now and it still feels like I just bought it. I let this mattress rest for14 hours before I slept on it - very nice, but after about two hours, had to strip the bed and wash everything because of the out gassing. When I unpacked the mattress there was the usual chemical smell but it was not overwhelming. Luckily, I had someplace else to sleep. The mattress has been “resting” for the last two days; still a little odor, but Im giving it another try tonight. Bottom line here is the mattress is very comfortable The last two high end mattresses Ive owned had the same problem which disappeared after a week +/-. Not an issue for me, could be off putting for some. Days later: Out gassing no longer a concern. Nighty night. ... show more

I got this mattress because my friend recommended it. I’ve had it for 5 months now, and it’s noticeably sagging. I think there are quality control issues. This mattress makes sleep truly restful. I’m a parent of two young kids and mostly a side sleeper, and the mattress strikes the perfect balance of comfort and support. Since my sleep is limited, I need the hours I do get to really count - and I wake up feeling genuinely refreshed. The cool-touch pillow top keeps it breathable and comfortable all night, and the edge support is a lifesaver when I’m sitting on the side of the bed, whether tossing on socks or rocking a kid back to sleep. What I appreciate most is how well-made it feels. The mattress has just the right firmness to cradle my hips and shoulders without sinking, while still giving great support through my back. My husband and I can move around without disturbing each other, which is a huge plus. Delivery was effortless.
