Another fantastic helinox product. I have used the off brand similar type chairs from other companies and there is a noticeable difference in quality and durability. Since this is a hard table that requires stability it should come with a floor mat in my opinion. The $30 they charge for them them is highway robbery. I have seen people use tennis balls and someone else had coasters for theres and one person had little rubber furniture leg holders they all worked pretty good. Anyway back the table. It is small. Very small. But there are certain things like prep work and cards and holding drinks that are just much much easier with a sturdy table. I'd like to see the price come down by about half while making the table a bit bigger but that is on a future list. I haven't had a chance to way them both but on first blush this seems smaller and lighter than my chair one. Don't quote me on that though! ... show more

The table packs small, is light, and very sturdy. Usually that combination of words don't go together but in this case they do. This table was used on an overnight hiking trip in the Ocala National Forest and it was perfect. It was cooked on, drinks and plates sat on it, etc. Never once did I question its ability to do what I needed it to. It certainly isn't cheap but you absolutely get what you pay for in this case. I tell you what, these Helinox products are very well built! The Helinox Table One Hard Top is the perfect accompaniment of the Chair One, and both are extraordinarily strong, and, paradoxically, very lightweight! What a wonderful combination, especially for one who likes to be comfortable when backpacking. (Yes, I bought two Helinox Chair One's and the Helinox Cot Max along with the Table One... quite a setback for my wallet but I've always been one to invest in high quality stuff! Pays off in the long run!). The only problem with the chair was that it sank in soft soil... a problem I don't anticipate with the table since I won't be sitting on it or loading it up with that much weight. So nice to have something to put one's stuff on, like food plates, gear that you don't want to put on the ground, etc. ... show more

I've been a huge fan of Helinox products after having used the Chair Zero and Table One (Medium) almost every day. I picked up the larger, hard top model for added versatility and it did not disappoint! The Table One (Large) is portable and easy to setup/store. Highly recommended!

I really love this table, it's a bit heavy for backpacking and we've gotten the Snow Peak table for longer trips .. that being this is a really beautiful table, beautifully designed and we do miss it when we don't have it.
