I am 5'1 and got the regular length because other reveiws said the pants were short and it's true! The regular length for me is perfect so if you're taller than 5'3 I recommend the tall length. The fabric is lightweight although slightly rough, but it's really not bad. Machine washed fine, you do just have to steam it to get it back to its original length bc it shrinks a but. These are the best linen pants I have ever purchased. They are long enough to hit my wait in the right spot (I’m 5’8) and travel very well. I wash them on gentle with cold water and air dry.
