These bags were a little bit larger than what I actually needed however they worked great. Good seal and the fit large blankets and wool carpet.

    • It took a trick to get them to seal
Size: 3 X-Large Style: 3 X-Large / Clothing
After placing blankets into the bags as per the instructions, I vacuumed the air out of the bags in what initially looked like a job well done. The bags were left on a couch and, after a few hours had passed, I noticed that the bags were no longer shrunken as they had been at first. I cleaned the ziplock tracks and made sure that the vacuum valves were clean, and none of the 3 bags would maintain their seals. I then decided to unzip the bags for one more try. I wiped the ziplock tracks with a damp cloth and used the zip tool to lock them. I then took an Alltoids box that was nearby, which has nicely rounded edges on the bottom, and pressed the tracks down on the table and ran the box over the tracks for several passes. I vacuumed the air out of the bags, and they stayed deflated. Success! ... show more

This product does not work for Vacuum storage!!! I have tried 4 times to seal the bag and it never completely seals ! Also the directions are horrible! I had to go on YouTube to figure it out & try to seal the bags which never happened!

    • Doesn't live up to its name
Size: 3 X-Large Style: 3 X-Large / Clothing
Nice size for holding two large thick throw blankets, but vacuum seal is poor. Leaks air within a day despite following instructions to the letter. And then repeating it. Too bad Hefty was such a let down with this item - I was expecting better.

    • No leakage.
Size: 3 X-Large Style: 3 X-Large / Clothing
Material used for storage is sturdy and it looks like it will last a long time. Vacuum did compress the clothes in package quite a bit so it fit nicely under the bed. There seemed to be no leakage. Only time will tell if that will be the case long term.
