Do not overly fold and do not over stuff and these bags will work very well. I had some bedding to store and it compressed extremely well to store on a top shelf. The sealing mechanism holds and is clear to see that it is sealed compared to other brands with flimsy sealants.

Purchased 3 different sets/sizes of these and I live them except, I had at least 1 out of every set that had small pin hole in them and 1 that the seam on the side was torn. This made the bags unusable as they wouldn't hold suction and filled back up with air. I tried to patch the holes with extremely serious duck tape but nothing I did worked. Originally I ordered only 2 packs which would have been plenty for the job I was doing. However, due to 3 of the bags being damaged and not holding an air tight seal, I was forced to purchase another set. That set also had 1 bag that would not seal. Guess it's hit or miss with them. But the ones that do seal are amazing! I was able to pack 2 entire linen closets that were busting at the seams in these. Once I had them packed and compressed, I was able to fit them all into just 1 closet. Freeing up an entire closet was definitely worth the price of buying the 3rd set.

Hefty is a great name in many regards for plastic and storage items. Unfortunately, in the starter pack, I received an extra large bag and put a couple of things in it, and it does not keep it sealed. Unfortunately, in the starter pack, I received an extra large bag and put a couple of things in it, and it does not keep sealed. The sliding plastic seals for me, have not worked at all. I resealed it a number of times by hand and tried everything I could to make it better. After about two hours, it completely lost the seal and became just a bag. Two of the other ones out of four worked perfectly. To this day they’re keeping the seal and are excellent. I just wish they all work that well. I don’t know if there was a hole in the extra large one or the valve was defective causing it not to maintain any seal. I am in the process of moving, and really wanted them to work. I am reluctant to buy more, which I wanted to, because of my experience with the biggest one with only a few bedding items in it.

These Bags have always been my go to for Clothing storage. I ordered four large bags and it shrinks down compact to store things and take up less space. I like the brand and did try another that did not compare to the sturdiness or value. I pack these up in bins and it saves me a lot of space . The cost was reasonable for the amount of bags you get and size. You have to use your own vacuum to shrink and then you can seal the bag, once opened the clothes or storage items fluff back up to size. . They fill up and store easily .
