Everything about this shoe is awesome. I got it for my father who is diabetic. He needs shoes that are gentle on his feet and also elegant and this just gives him exactly that. When it comes to work footwear, I have a preference towards Oxfords or Chukka style boots, and aesthetically these check that first box well. Regarding quality, I think time will reveal their true nature, but initial impressions are fairly positive. For the price it's typically unreasonable to expect fine craftsmanship, and these don't really challenge assertion, but after a 3.5 mile walk today, my feet are feeling ok, and the shoes are holding up so far. My intention is to use these in a temperature controlled business casual setting, then switch to some proper walking shoes when making a concerted effort to burn some calories. Pros: -Affordable -True to size. I wear somewhere between a 12.5 and 13 shoe (US) and these fit as expected for a 13 with a tiny bit of wiggle room easily secured with some more supportive added insoles. -The look pretty sharp for the price Cons: -When you get close, you begin to notice some of the flaws. Little defects in the molded sole, minor variations in stitch quality, bits of adhesive creeping up where the sole meets the side of the shoe. That being said, it's close to what I would expect at this price. How they hold up over time is the most important detail in my opinion. -They we're fairly comfortable, but lack decent arch support. I'll be adding some more supportive insoles to boost that support and shore up the fit a bit. Overall, I'm happy with these. If you need something that looks fairly professional and you're on a budget, these seem like a good option. ... show more
