This shelf came and was exactly what I thought it would be. Yes, it’s thin wood, but if you read the description they never claim otherwise. It was very easy and quick to put together and took me about 10-15 minutes. I’m using this as a bookshelf for my kids playroom, so I opted to not use the sticker wall mounts and used screws instead, but I liked that they included the sticker kind. I really didn’t want a white plywood shelf, so I was happy to find this one for a good price. Overall, I would buy it again.

The size works great for what we need it for in a small room. It was easy to put together. The quality it’s good. Very light soft wood. It hold a lot of books. The holes for some of the screws were a little big but everything worked out fine.

Appearance of this is nice. It is unfinished, so you may want to consider staining it, or putting a clearcoat on it. It is fairly easy to assemble. However, there are several holes that are too large for the screws - probably about one per shelf, if not more are just spinning and spinning in the hole. One set of holes was completely miss drilled and off to the side too much - I had to drill new pilot holes into it. Once that side was fixed, the other side was perfectly lined up. Sturdiness is lacking because of each shelf having at least one hole that doesn’t have grip. One side with the metal attachment piece has zero holes that completely grip - they both feel like they are just hanging on by a thread. Luckily, this is intended for lightweight, non-breakable items, so I am not too worried about it. However, I would not get this again.

This is adorable if you don’t plan on using it. It did not take long to assemble and I could do it alone. However, the included “screws” to attach to the wall, were no more than stickers with a screw head. Once the bookcase had books on it, the weight caused the bookcase to topple. DO NOT purchase for a nursery or child’s room without planning in advance to use your own screws/bracing mechanism. Actually, do not purchase for any room without planning to use your own screws if you want to put anything on the bookcase as it will likely topple over.

This bookcase is very lightweight made with soft pine wood. It was easy to assemble as long as you have room to lay out the whole thing. It was also easy to install in our kids closet. We used the sticky pads to help anchor it to the wall and it worked great. We have old plaster walls and didn't want to make holes in them and although they are not perfectly smooth the sticky pads adhered well. It does stand on its own but definitely needs to be anchored. Not sure how much weight it could hold but we filled ours with books and it did great. The wood is raw and dents easily. It is however ready to stain or paint if you would like. It looks very nice and doesn't take up a lot of floor space. There is no back on it so whatever you put in it will lay up against your wall. Highly recommend.

I have a little bit of a love/hate relationship with this shelf. I really love the way it looks. I love the real, unfinished wood, the slimness of it, the small footprint. However, frankly, it sucks as a bookshelf. I bought it to use for books, and it says "the shelf has 6 layers, each layer is different in height, tested up to about 100 books can be placed." HA! I don't know what kind of books they have, but I don't see how 100 books could fit on here. Maybe it would work well for small toddler board books, but I still don't see 100 fitting on here. Normal sized books only fit on the bottom two shelves and the very top shelf. It's very difficult to fit books in the middle shelves. To be fair, they do provide the dimensions for each shelf in the listing, but I didn't measure everything and just trusted the fact that they call this a "bookshelf" and said it holds 100 books. Also, it needs some more support. There is no backing to this shelf, and it hangs on the wall from 2 screws on the top. It comes with no punch screws that stick to the wall, but I just used normal screws since I have wood walls. I found that the books would slip down the back of the shelf and the shelf could easily move away from the wall at the bottom, so I had to macgyver some anchors to connect the shelf to the wall on the bottom as well, and that helped a lot. I know this is a lot of complaining, and I really probably should give it 3 stars based on the amount of complaining I'm doing. BUT I still just really love the way it looks. It makes me happy when I see the pretty wood. If you like the look, aren't looking for perfection, and don't mind a little bit of DIY, you might like it too.

This is a great shelving unit for a small space or any room with a minimalist aesthetic. I have this in our guest room where I felt we needed a little something extra. It's perfect! It doesn't take up much space but is very functional. It holds lots of little decor items which makes the room pop and also functions as a shelf for guests to place items like small devices, chargers, or accessories. It wasn't difficult to put together. It would be easy to stain or paint if desired but we kept the natural wood color to go along with the other items in the room.
