I thought these fenders were stainless steel, but apparently not. Within 2 days after installing them, they were completely covered with rust. Perhaps I misread the description, but they are definitely not stainless. They are very sturdy, just make sure to paint them before exposing them to the outside ... show more

Awsum for the price well worth it!!! Very sturdy alone !!! No the backs are not attached but if you can tack weld just put few welds on it or as I am using in a teardrop camper build I’ll bring back to top side fender and self tapping screw thru inside panel thru fender lip will work just fine….
