After using the Telescope for 3 weeks, I can see it is a capable option for stargazers. The features and build quality at the price point has a balance of performance and portability. The 80mm aperture with 600mm focal length allows for enough light to come in for clear view of the moon and bright stars and planets. The optical clarity is great for the price, no complaints! One of the best things are the included accessories to use right of the box: It has versatile magnification with two eyepieces (10mm,25mm) and 3X Barlow Lens. The Finder scope makes it easier to align the telescope. Although initial setup will need to align the view. The smartphone adapter is a fun addition to click pictures and moon filter enhances contrast and reduces glare. The setup is intuitive, and the manual was easy to follow. Everything can be taken apart and packed in a small bag included with the telescope making it highly portable and you can take it to trips or outings. Overall this telescope is a great value for money. Highly recommend for enthusiasts beginning their journey.

Wonderful multipurpose scope.

Portable and durable. I recently packed my scope into its carry bag and tossed it into the back of my Jeep to move from CT to FL. It is super portable and rapidly sets up and tears down for transport. It is very light and the construction is simple enough to keep it durable. Unlike some of my other scopes which are very heavy and barely portable. I intend to drag this one in the Jeep for use whenever I want to dig it out and observe some wildlife. Just the other day, I had a flock of parrots descend upon my bird feeder. I haven't been able to get close enough to get a good picture with my cell phone. The included adapter allowed me to get some great shots of the skittish birds on my first tries. Child friendly. This is a good scope to use with children. It is inexpensive enough to be disposable under the worst-case scenario. It is simple to set up and operate with enough quality to keep interest up, unlike scopes of lesser quality that are difficult and frustrating to use at best. The tripod quickly adjusts to child heights for easy viewing. The only negative I have found with this scope is the focus. The focuser is much better than other inexpensive scopes I have tried in the past. I would enjoy a fine adjustment for use when used as a spotting scope and photography. I find it difficult to get perfect focus sometimes using the course adjustment. Under most viewing conditions it was perfectly adequate. I recommend this scope as a good beginner scope for the price and believe it may soon replace some of my more expensive scopes in the same way my cell phone camera has replaced my SLR cameras. The one you have with you all the time tends to get the most use.

Good Entry Level Telescope

The packing is great it comes in 3 boxes. I wish the external box was better secured. For the first test run it worked nicely and was easy to use. It's light weight and convenient to carry with you. As long as you have realistic expectations you'll enjoy this piece especially as a starter telescope or one to take with you on the go. You'll see planets but not in super high quality. Still a fun activity if you pair it with a good star gazing app. The phone holder is fun but needs some getting used to to set up. More serious buyers should look into a telescope with 120 apareture but those are more expensive.

I don't recommend it.

Not impressed at all. The scope is semi decent, however that's where it stops. I do not recommend this. The tripod is horrible. I would line up an object and tighten it down. By the time I would swap out the lense the telescope would slide back. Noatyer how tight I would tight down the handle it would never stay out. If you are looking straight or at the horizon it did a little better, but not much. Plus I'm not trying to look at treetops, I wanted to look in the sky with it. It looks like a great deal, but you'll end up getting frustrated trying to use it. Especially if you're a beginner. This is getting sent back today.

Very high value telescope

The telescope is very beginner friendly. Fairly simple to set up (~5 min) and can get descent close ups of the moon. I like the side scope so I can slowly locate and zoom in. The phone mount may not fit my phone and has a lot of weight which makes it hard to take a picture of what I’m seeing but I’m sure most phones can fit. Sturdy stands allow steady observing. The bag it comes with makes it very easy to transport. I also like all the hand screwing so it’s easy to disassemble and reassemble. Overall great 5/5

Set up is easy but you don’t get to see things as clearly as you would think. We tried to see things on a very clear night and could barely get a good look at the moon.

Great starter telescope for everyone

I bought this telescope for my 10-year-old, who has recently become fascinated with space exploration, and it's been a fantastic purchase. He was so excited to have his own telescope and has been having a great time learning about the night sky and looking for different constellations. Setup was straightforward, and we were able to get everything ready without much trouble. It's definitely beginner-friendly, which was exactly what we were looking for. One of our favorite experiences so far was using it to watch the June Strawberry Moon. The view was surprisingly clear, and we could easily make out details on the Moon's surface. It was a memorable family moment and made my son even more excited about astronomy. Another feature we really appreciate is the included backpack. It keeps everything organized and makes it easy to take the telescope with us to parks or darker locations away from city lights. It's a thoughtful addition that adds a lot of convenience. For the price, this telescope offers excellent value. It's a great starter telescope for kids and families who are just getting into astronomy. If you have a young space enthusiast at home, I would definitely recommend giving this one a try!
