The fabric underneath is a bit fuzzy at some spots, but I don’t see it unless looking for it. If folded it does leave creases for a while. Beware of crayon scribbles, though. Haven't found a tablecloth so durable and weighty since the "old days", when oilcloth was used in the construction. Cleans beautifully and doesn't get those little "nicks" common to vinyl tablecloths. I also appreciate the neutral tones and pattern. Durable for every day, but attractive enough for guests. Blueberry and tomato sauce and taco stains cleaned up with just a wipe, even when having time to set. Would buy again!! ... show more

Tablecloth is just as advertised, even better quality than I was expecting, pretty heavy weight. Thankfully it's nice enough that I can have the windows open because there is quite a chemical odor. I hope it dissipates fast... otherwise I may have to return.

Although the quality was good and the fit was right we had to return this item. It had a very high smell which was too strong for my nose. I tried wiping but after 24 hours in the open, the smell won't go away.
