Honestly i wasnt looking into being impressed thinking it was going to be”eehhhh”. Honestly though it looks clean tbh, i get looks and even get asked where i got it and i installed a led bar in the rear with some pod lights as well as a gas tank and fore extinguisher. Honestly quality is good a bit ont the heavy side, if you arent strong enought you will need 2 people to install if not your good. Roughly i think it weights a little over 120lbs. Instructions arent so well, but easy once you read it once or twice. Follow instructions it has 3 steps to install. 1 for withouth rails 2 for with track system 3 if you have bed rails.

I went ahead and ordered the long roll bar. The roll bar and contents were well packaged and arrived in good condition. All parts were included, and assembly was easy to do. So overall everything seems as advertised. The fitment with the Ford accessory roof spoiler, was a close fit. (see attached photo), due to the Ford bed liner. The rear clamps would not align properly as the curvature of the under rail bed liner was in the way. So, I had to push the roll bar forward to get the correct placement for the clamps. If someone has a roof spoiler more than 1.750 inches, from rear glass to tip of spoiler, it probably won't clamp at the rear clamp properly.

Looks great and worth the dollars. Installation is quite simple, about 2 hours for assembly and final installation. You need to follow instructions as to leave all bolts loose so that you can plum the unit on the truck to get a perfect fit. Final fit is the key to make sure both sides are spaced and fit mirror of the other. Hopefully, you will not run into the problem of the holes in the 2 ends of the cross bar not aligning correctly with the front and left vertical bars. One issues I ran across is that if you do have a bed cover, you will have to add a 3/8" thick x 1" wide weather stripping between the bottom of the bed cover aluminum rails to reseal the spacing left as the as the aluminum rails will no longer be mounted on the truck as the 6 mounting bases of the roll bar will be sitting on the truck's 2 bed fender black plastic surfaces instead of the aluminum rails. Another issue that is evident is that although the semi texture finish is esthetically pleasing, it is a cheap China applied finish, which typically lacks a primer coat to promote adhesion to the metal. While adding and making adjustment of the front overhead cross bar, it is noted that the point of contact with the Left and Right front vertical tubular bar, the ends which fit into the cross bars will need to be touched up as the paint easily scratches off thus being your firsts points to watch for rust build up. Recommend a satin black touchup with Rustoleum paint and a find model paint brush for any ends of the tubes that make contact with another adjoining tube. If you are ADHD about details, just send the entire thing out to get the entire unit stripped down and powder coated here in the U.S. One last item, there does not appear to be any drain holes at the bottom of the ends of the two rear bars. This will obviously create major water build up inside the tubes of which RUST will quickly tend to form inside and rotting the tubs from the inside out. The drawback of adding a drain hole at the end of the two tubes is that surface rust that is destine to build up inside the tubes will cause water insides the tube to stain the sides of the rear fender with rust stains as water drains out.

Looks great on my Maverick truck. Took about 45 min. to put together on the floor of my garage with screws loose so it can be all tightened down later when on the truck. Setting on the truck is actually a 2 person job so my wife helped me. Only issue is the allen wrench that came with the parts. After a few screws the corners rounded off. But I had one made with good steel that I used.

This roll bar was packed very nice. The assembly was very nice fitting and pretty easy. The bar seems to be very well made and fit the truck perfectly! Im am well satisfied with the quality, looks and installation. This bar looks great on the Colorado. This is no light weight bar.
