Some simple thoughts on this product. The first being everybody seems to be ordering the wrong size when it comes to the twin size. There are two basic sizes for a twin bed, 30x60 in and 37x 74 inches, most people seem to be buying the 30x60 instead of the larger twin XL size. The construction is adequate, it uses MDF compressed fiber board about .20"thick, about 1/5 of an inch or slightly less than one quarter inch. MDF, (medium density fiberboard) has become the up and coming champion of furniture manufacturers due to its superior strength, its density, and the ease at which it can be cut, shaped, and sanded. Believe it or not MDF is used in some of the higher end stereo speaker cabinets I have a pair of Klipsch Tower speakers with dual 8 inch woofers, upon researching the speakers material I discovered it was made with MDF, now I don't mean to complain, but a pair of speakers that cost $1,200 I expected better wood, only to find out that the MDF is now the sound standard for compressed particle board, its fine grained wood and density make it perfect for a speaker box. Now the way I see it is, I put it on my bed which is a twin XL with a memory foam mattress and I have absolutely no problems with it bending under my weight l, (I am 6'2, 200 lbs, and I don't get any sag at all even with the standard spacing of the bed cross rails, and most importantly, the price, there really isn't much out there that's better than this concept, the hollow bed board frames that seem to be the most popular are actually the worst you can get, they supply no support in a realistic sense, the MDF makes for a far more stable platform than a hollow steel frame. I have had no problem with it whatsoever, it works as advertised and at a very reasonable price. I recommend it. If it can be used in top of the line speakers like Klipsch I think I would trust it.....👍

These are great, I definitely didn't measure my mattress very well because I ordered two twin 60inchers for my king size bed. They're already helping with the sag, we'll made and sturdy. Very nice price point and they arrived undamaged, so, really happy with this.

If you plus size you need to get this. I am a super plus size I started out when I got this. I was 510 and now I am 440. And This has made sure that my mattress is fluffy and it’s holding my weight and I feel like I can safely fall asleep and turn over like I have the metal frame and this just is a game changer. I’ll never buy another mattress without a boxspring without buying this, I was gonna try to jimmy this up at Home Depot. I’m so happy I bought this Oh, it really does fit on my full-size bed and I don’t even feel it slide now. I also do have clips to hold my mattress in place, but I don’t feel anything slide under here. It’s amazing. Now I will say it has a very woody scent, and the woody scent is still there like three months later, but I love that. I love that my bed smells like wood when I get into it. So I haven’t tried to combat it, and I adore it

Bought after buying mattress in a box, along with a bed frame which has metal slats across the frame I'd say spaced about 5" apart no other support for the mattress. Didn't want to buy a box spring so bought this for more supporting the mattress. Two problems I found. 1. After using the folding box spring I found it would shift easily just from getting out of bed, not a lot but kind of annoying. Solution: Placed pieces of rubbermade shelving (non slip kind) under first board (head of bed) and did the same for the one at the end of bed between the board and the metal slate this stopped it from sliding. 2. Boards are like one board too short for the frame so there is an area that is not supported. Right now I have it centered on bed frame. might try shifting it either toward headboard or foot. Note the shortage means you can't really tuck the sheets or blanket in at the end of the bed tightly, summer not big deal, winter different story. Out of box, tools are included, easy to assemble, and is sturdy, I added bed lifts and is working out fine I needed room to store some boxes under the bed.

It’s thin but really serves the purpose it’s meant to be for. Especially if you have the thin foam mattress this box spring makes a difference.
