I got this cover as I towed my boat to Florida for a couple months, and set it up in outside storage. I wanted a cover to keep it dry and clean. So far, I am more than satisfied. I came back down after 3 weeks and 1 side filled up with water, as my boat doesn't have great support. However, even with the strain of the pooled water, it held, didn't rip and my boat is nice and dry inside. Also, my boat is a 14 ft. vee hull and this cover fits well over the sides. So no wind debris or dirt made it inside the boat. Perfect for what I needed.

OMG! I am so lucky to find this boat cover. The price is excellent; because the quality is so good. The manufacturer used top quality materials and the craftsmanship is as good as any boat covers. I have been around boats my whole life. Protecting the boat from the elements is the number one precaution for all boat owners. Nothing is harder on a boat than the weather. The very first thing that I noticed was the wonderful web storage bag it came in. Then the next and probably the best feature is the straps for this cover. These are not just rope and I did not even expect straps to come with it. The straps are plenty long enough for my 17' aluminum boat with a modified hull and a 25 hp motor on the back. The cover is long enough to lap over my trolling motor, outboard motor and the front of my trailer. My boat is not a run-a-bout. It's a console so I was taking a chance the cover would not work. Well bless my soul, it's a beautiful fit, as you can plainly see in my photographs. Since I have a trolling motor on the front of my boat, I pointed out the contact points. I will take the cover to my local upholstery shop and have a large piece of reinforced canvas added as a protective layer to protect it from tearing on the trolling motor or the front trailer hitch. I also provided pictures of the stitching. You can clearly see the double stitched lapping fabric. I highly recommend this boat cover. It will be great for boat up to 18 feet long. It will also work great on a boat with console, like mine. This is a purchase you will not regret. One look and I think you will agree that the quality will protect the boat from the elements for several years. I think you will be happy that you found this cover and the price is awesome.

Overall a nice cover and a very good value. It fits well and looks great on the boat. If this was the first cover I had ever purchased I would give it five stars, but I'm comparing to the cover it is replacing, and there were a couple of items for which there is room for improvement: - The cover is advertised as 600D weight, but is thinner than the one it replaced. It also has a vinyl or other backing that the original did not have. I don't think there's a weight heavier than 600D, so not sure if the original cover is over specification, or this one is under spec. However, the original cover was more expensive than this cover, and was 10 years ago or so. - There's no gusset on the front of the cover to strengthen the cover. I see this as an issue for two reasons: 1) this is where the cover fits tightly over the marker light, which puts a lot of stress at this point. This is where the last cover wore out first, and it was gusseted with multiple layers at this point. 2), this is also the point that will get stress if transporting the boat with the cover on. - The two straps in the back are different, and must be looped around the frame before attaching to the cover. This is a pain to install and remove if you transport the boat without the cover. These straps should be the same style as the remainder of the straps on the cover. (Also, there's no instructions included, so I may be using these straps incorrectly but have no way of knowing the manufacturer's intent). Otherwise as stated before, the cover is well made and a good value for the price. At this price (compared to the big boat store brands) I figure I can replace it twice as often and still come out ahead. I would recommend this cover for the price point.

I have gone through boat covers it seems like every year. They all seem to fail after a year or so, but this one is holding up quite well on my 19 ft Bayliner Capri. After 6 months it's still tight with no leaks. The only downfall is that it very tight on my boat, barely fits. But it does fit. And oh, amazingly the black color hasn't faded in the California sun. Update: I downgraded this to three stars because after two years it began to grow mildew on the inside of the cover and the mildew began to discolor my white seats. Worked great for two years but I'm now getting rid of it quickly before it permanently ruins my white leather seats! On a positive note, it still hasn't faded...it's still black!
