I looked at a lot of options before deciding on this one. I'm very happy with it! I previously had a more flimsy rack on wheels for extra storage and this is so much better. The size is perfect for where I needed to place it (make sure to double check measurements), and I love that I was able to customize where all the shelves and hanging racks go. I used the included anti-topple hardware to secure it to the wall and it is very stable. It holds a lot of weight and clothing. I left about an 8-9" gap at the bottom to store some heavier items underneath and there is plenty of room to still hold my laundry basket and a bunch of clothes on the racks. I also have storage bins on the shelves (even on the top shelf) and everything looks so much neater and more organized. Very pleased with the quality - the poles are all metal, the only plastic is the little clips for where you want the shelves to go. Instructions were easy and I was able to complete the project by myself. I would recommend this shelf, I am very happy with my purchase! ... show more

First of all, I know that my idea of heavy duty is more like industrial strength. But this is decent for the price. Easy to assemble. Took about an hour and a half by myself in a fairly cramped area. And I'm short so needed to retrieve a small step ladder so I could put on the top piece! Good lighting helps! Because it is relatively tall and could become top heavy it is a good idea to fasten it to a wall. In doing so it enables you to move the hanger bars toward the outside a couple of spaces. When they are placed in the center of the rack my hangers hit the wall behind them and stay wedged at an angle. You don't want your clothes rubbing up against the wall and causing wear. Overall a satisfactory design, size and construction. I'd recommend it if you need an affordable garment rack! ... show more

It is easy to assemble, sturdy except for the hanging rods. The rods slides to the sides I have to place zip ties to keep it in place. Other wise it is good. Can hang a lot of clothes. Just the right size for a room.
