I tried the bike repair stand for $99, bike stand which was stated to hold 88lbs. My e-bike was stated to weigh in the area of 72 lbs. After using the stand for a few days the holding claws started to deform. I had rotated the bike in different positions. Finally the claw and rubber broke away. I returned the stand to Amazon as defective. I ordered a different stand that looked similar for $119 which stated a maximum weight of 110 lbs. the claws looked the same but had a slightly different setup. Check it out for yourself. Receiving the new one, I placed it upside down and left it overnight and almost all day with no problems. Let me be honest. The first stand I connected to the frame. The new one I connected to the seat post. I know this is a lot but, I hope it helps. I’m not into spending a lot of money for something I’ll use every now and then. I’m going to keep the new one. Both stands are 3 legs. Personally would stay away from the 2leg systems. Also, I would recommend removing the front wheel since that is the least part of the bike you’ll probably work on. I feel you’ll have a better experience. Take care.

This is a heavy duty bike stand that holds my 84lb ebike securely and the tripod legs keep the stand steady. The parts are sturdy and it has a nice looking finish. This stand is a good value for the price.

Biggest waste of money I've ever spent , I bought this to service my ebikes, my heaviest is 80 pounds with battery , this will not hold the ebike even without battery, regular bicycle would work great, no matter how you grab the ebike the plastic gear teeth that keep your bike in the position you want will not hold the bike so one wheel is always on the ground and it's hard to lift a 60 pound bike up with one hand and try to clamp it with the other and when you do the bike won't stay in position anyway !!

We have used this stand several times now. It is very sturdy. I have left my 55lb E-bike on it overnight and no issues. It adjusts easily to hold the frame or the seat tube. It is easy to fold up and put out of the way, lightweight, and sturdy. My only complaint is that I wish the neck that holds the bike was about 1 inch longer. Sometimes the pedals hit the stand when running them. But this is easy to work around and is not a big deal at all. 4 months later and very frequent use, it is holding up perfectly.

This bike stand is very stable working with a 30 to 40 lbs. bike but not with the e-bike, which is is 80 lbs without its two batteries. Putting this stand together was straightforward ; the materials, finish and operation are very good. Although the rotating clamp that extends and retracts with the 1/4-turn handle is a welcomed feature to engage what looks like a 90° spline gears, this clamp slowly disengages as the whole assembly flexes with the bike's weight and cannot be left unattended. The clamp slips even with the bike suspended in a minimal torsional position and the instructions do not provide solutions. Took mechanism apart, found the issue is due to poor quality hardware provided coming loose while in use; the threads on the internal M8 bolt (and another two SHCS that attaches the "alligator clamp" to the head tube) are undersized... the nylon insert nuts are substandard too... Temporarily solved it by slightly distorting the nut heads with flat chisel, which allows the nut to resist vibration.

This is an excellent repair stand. I used it to adjust the brake cables on my Lectric XP 2.0 That bike weighs 65 pounds. The stand held it with no issues. Stable, affordable and portable. I used some gift cards to save about half the price.

This bike stand is not built for an E bike. This is very thin, tubular aluminum riveted together to the top unit and on the bottom to the feet. The tool tray came bent at a 10° angle. I had to heat up the metal and reshape it to make it Flat. You can see that the clamp arm is at about a five or 6° angle up. And the type of clamp that this bike stand uses is horrible!! This bike stand clamp arm is very difficult to adjust, especially if you have more than one type of bike that you’re using this for . The rubber pads in the clamp are so flimsy that I Had to use electrical tape and rubber cement to keep the pads in place . The clamp itself has a handle that is very small and uncomfortable to use while compressing the spring with while holding your bike at that weird angle of the clamp arm. The clamps do not work on a non-circular seat post – my Canyon has a D shaped seat post. If you have an e-Bike , you’ll need two people to put this on the stand one person to hold the bike up or two people to hold the bike up and then a third person actually to adjust the clamp and then actually clamp it onto the frame… not recommended For Bikes or any bike actually. 😳. I’m keeping this because I’ve already made the necessary adjustments and repairs. You can see the whole I drilled in the arm for that tiny clamp bolt for the seat arm- clamp bolt goes through that hole in the plastic so now my arm is horizontal and not pointing to the sky. I would look for a better bike stand than this one for the money. 💰💰☹️☹️☹️☹️
