This trellis looks sturdy in the photos, but in reality, the metal is so thin that it bent while I was just trying to set it up. The adjustable frame doesn't lock securely, and once I added a few cucumber vines, the whole thing wobbled and eventually collapsed. The so-called rust-proof coating also started peeling after one rain. Complete waste of money.

These work fine for lighter climbing plants, but I wouldn’t consider them heavy duty as described. The design is simple and easy to set up, and they do the job for things like peas or smaller vines. However, once assembled, they don’t feel as sturdy as I expected, especially if you’re planning to use them for heavier plants. For something like cucumbers or larger, fruit-bearing vines, I’d be a bit concerned about long-term stability, especially once the plants start filling out. A couple things to keep in mind: Better suited for lighter plants like peas or smaller vines Stability may be an issue with heavier growth Overall, they’re usable and convenient, just more appropriate for lighter garden use rather than anything truly heavy duty.
