This is a laminated table. It’s says walnut in the description but not walnut laminate, just know that you’re not going to get $160 table that’s walnut. I’m only using it for my snake cage so it’s perfect for what I’m using it for. I would’ve gave it a five star if the description had laminate after the walnut

It's a very nice desk and cost-effective. I put it together one saturday or something and that went just fine EXCEPT.. I share the experience others have reported that when it came time for the final step of attaching the frame and the legs to the bottom of the desk, the holes in the desk were not in the right places. There were little holes all over the place. But I was able to screw it manually into the wood with a little bit of persistence and wristpower. It actually wasn't bad at all. But I wish those holes had been in the right places. It looks like a premium desk. I love the look of the wood and of the legs. This was for a secondary computer in another room, possibly a future home office, and there was plenty of room for the monitor, the computer tower if I wanted it there, a keyboard, a mouse, computer speakers, office supplies,.. I even have a large router sitting on it as well. So anyway it's a nice-looking table/desk.

I am so happy I took the plunge and decided to order this high quality, versatile, table/desk. I was actually needing a table for several different purposes- a kitchen table to eat dinner at instead of sitting at my kitchen island on a bar stool, a puzzle/game/craft table to use when playing games or working on projects, and a simple desk to use when I want to sit at a desk on my laptop instead of in bed or on the couch. However- I didn't want something too heavy or permanent. It needed to be small and compact and easy to move around when needed. I had actually ordered a very similar table that I love- but the problem with that one was that it was only 43 inches long, and I realized it was not quite long enough to fit 4 chairs underneath when I want to use it as a dining table. This one has an extra 4 inches and is the perfect size to fit 4 chairs comfortably. You could also fit another 2 on the short ends when needed, for a total of 6. There are several things about this desk/table that make it better than the other ones I've seen. I love the combination of the brown and black together and it fits into my decor perfectly. It is made of the most beautiful faux wood in a gorgeous warm tone that looks perfect with my decor and would probably look great in just about any room. It really has that versatile mid-century modern stylish look. The thing that makes this desk better than the others I've seen are the legs. They are made of black metal which gives them a nice industrial/modern look- but I love how they criss-cross and go in on the sides. This makes all the difference design-wise. You can scroll down on Amazon and look at the other similar tables and none of them are as cute and stylish as this one because most of the other table legs just go straight down and create a bulky/square effect, while this one is much more sleek and stylish. The few that do go in on the sides and criss-cross have a weird double bar that is just tacky and over-the-top. This one is simple and sleek without looking tacky. It actually reminds me of the simple Scandinavian decor style that I see in design blogs. I was able to easily assemble this table in less than an hour. It feels sturdy and high quality while also being versatile and easy to move around and use for various things. It actually even looked cute in my foyer under a huge piece of artwork. I currently have the table protruding out from the side of my kitchen island so there is an entire side of it where I cant put a chair- but I can still fit 2 on each side and one on the open end. And I can move the table out and add a 6th chair if necessary. I highly recommend this versatile, functional, and stylish desk/table. It's one of my favorite Amazon orders. 5 stars!

The media could not be loaded. I am not sure who is giving this table high ratings but it seems they all got a great unit of this table same day. Now lets give this table a "HONEST" review. This table is so flimsy I would not trust it with anything valuable. The individual parts are of such a poor quality that when you screw the individual parts together the metal, if you can call it that, will bend if you try to tighten them. Even after assembled the complete base has no weight to it and doesn't assure its stable (see the video). Now if you look at the pictures you will see gaps, bad welding points, the top has on the backside also so many manufacturing defects. Then I also took a picture showing you how the base is screwed to the top. Doesn't scream solid. At this price point it is unacceptable how bad this table is manufactured. I would steer clear if you looking for a solid table
