This trellis is solidly constructed. It was relatively simple to put together, though the wing nuts are not coated with green plastic like the other parts. Not sure how rust-resistant they will be. It says it's for cucumbers, but it can be used for anything that's climbing. The footprint is 16" wide and 24-36" from front to back, depending upon how you situate it. In the photo it's 27", and with that spacing it's 43" tall (see photo). It comes with metal anchor staples (second photo) which I think will suffice. Whatever you use it for shouldn't be large because of the limited size. In my experience, cucumber vines, pole beans, and other climbing garden plants want something much larger. So definitely heavy duty and very sturdy. At the current price, it will be expensive to put many of these in your garden if you have a lot of climbing plants, and it will be limited in what you can use it for.

The frame is sturdier than expected. Actually, it is so sturdy that we decided to combine both sides to make one long trellis. The assembly allows for this; you can line up the pieces so that you have one, long trellis. We are using it for our starter Clematis, to get it up the fence. But the A-frame would definitely be sturdy enough for cucumbers or other climbing plants. It was easy to assemble, quality materials, and it looks very nice. A good investment!

This small trellis came in 7 sections, with the hinged section (top) as one piece. Each of the pieces slid easily into the other and are secured with thumb screws. When assembled, the unit slid easily into the sandy soil of my garden. I hesitate at calling this ‘heavy duty’ as you might have difficulty pushing it into rocky soil. The unit itself is powder coated and of relatively thick metal that would be sturdy enough for most climbing flowing vines and some vining vegetables. I planted zucchini on either side, which I think will grow up, over, and down the other side. It looks like it will hold up well and not rust. I like that it is green. The “U” shaped landscape staples included are quite thin, and I didn’t really see a use for them with this product. I did like the roll of twist-tie wire that was included and will be useful to secure the plants to the frame. Great for small-space gardens. I think it is an OK value for the price.

This trellis is very small; I was planning on using it for pole beans, but when I put it in my garden, I was extremely underwhelmed by the size, and I’m not sure it’s actually going to work. I may end up just putting it elsewhere in my yard for a light climbing flower like clematis or potentially use it to cover veggies in netting if they start getting eaten. Otherwise, the construction was simple. It does seem to droop inward just very, very slightly; I definitely wouldn’t classify it as heavy-duty by any means. I think it seems pretty expensive for the size… I wouldn’t buy another one. Like I said, I’m sure it’ll come in handy at some point, but I’m definitely not gonna be attempting to grow my pole beans or okra on it.

This was super easy to assemble. I got this to use for my beans/peas. You could do cucumbers on it too, I imagine? But I think it might be a little too small for a larger vine. It is nice and sturdy, though, and I love the coating on it (not just painted) so it should be durable for several years. I foresee getting a lot of use out of this. Good value!

The assembly was simple and all of the included hardware attched easily. This A-frames adjustable design allows a good flexibility for the garden since it can work for cucumbers, tomatoes and even beans of its laid down near flat. That flexibility does make it feel a little frail at its flat point and I've noticed some slight bending but nothing that has kept it from being a welcome addition to the garden for this new season.
