Have 3 kitties that winter in heated workshop. They do go outside when weather permits - their choice. Kitties love barely warm water. Most of the time they drink from bowls inside the workshop. When out, they are using this great warmer. Currently temps are dipping into lower 20's....water is staying warm. I bought this heated water bowl for my flock of 5 chickens. It holds plenty, but to keep them from scratching dirt into the bowl I set it up on cement blocks. The only issue I have is that it is pretty light weight and I need to find a way for it to stay on the blocks.
