Healthy Homemade Catfood & Treats The first thing I must say about this book is that five minutes into it, I was very close to tears. I love cats and had a similar thing happen to me last year so I know very well how much love cats can provide and in my perception of cats, I find them to be a profoundly different experience than anything else on the planet. As for the nutritional issue, I have always questioned everything and you may see me in my local grocery store staring at the ingredients label on an item of food. I thought… there has to be a better way! And in terms of cat food, when your read this book, you will soon learn that indeed there is; and it’s all in this book so you will not be disappointed when you read it. The book is extremely well written and all the sections and subheadings guide you along the way as you read. Here are just some of the ways this book is a sure winner! The author understands the reader's thoughts and any cat lovers' concerns. Segments include Raw Methods & Cooked Methods of approaching homemade cat food. Further segments include a Meat Breakdown or all about the meats cats love, What To Avoid when creating your new cat food and then a huge segment on Nutrition. Then a segment on Carbs and Vitamins and Supplements, Calories, and a segment devoted to how to convert your cats to homemade food. When changing anything regarding feeding your cats, you should always move very gradually from the old plan to the new and much more healthy one. Changing a cat's diet overnight can cause huge problems for your furry little friends so never do that! The recipes include Chicken and feature a great plan for Chicken Stock, Beef Recipes including Meatloaf, Turkey Meals including Turkey Pasta, and even holiday meal plans. Also all sorts of Fish recipes and why not a Kitty Omelette? I was so surprised at the quantity of new information found in this great book.     • Not much recipes. Mostly just INFORMATION on cat nutrition.
Disliked because 75+ pages were NOT recipes this was not what I wanted. Was not explained correctly to customers. Please either send label to return, or have a pickup at my home. Thank You
