I went ahead and gave this 5 stars because it does fit , it does work and therefore, is very easy to replace. But as others have mentioned, the fake rubber on the twisty knob could/should have been retconned for some other material . Instead, it will chip, discolor and turn gluey like the original GM part over time. I recently dug a Bosch radio/charger out of storage. It has a black and blue remote. The black surface had become sticky and was almost melting off of the surface of the remote. The black was purely ornamental. It would cling to my fingers and turn them sticky and black at the slightest touch. I was able to use some paper towels and kind of scrape/wipe the coating off of it. These items are both about the same age. Apparently, spray-on fake rubber was a thing, back in the late 90s. It dissolves over time. And that's the problem with both the remote and the twist knob. Apparently the spray-rubber is still available because it's still used on this knob. After a decade you just have to replace it or peel the rubber off. It has such an icky feeling. So I considered rating it 4 stars, but it's really not the part's fault, it's a GM design flaw. ... show more

Are you tired of dash gremlins? Do you get pulled over too often cause your dash lights aint worked but a blink in 100k miles unless you hit that one pothole just right? Tired of beating the dash every few miles? I WAS TOO!! And holy crap, this part fixed it!! I can see my dash for the first time in 3 years, apparently i now have 317k miles on it, thanks to this headlight switch. I had tried OEM refurbs but had no luck from them. Thankfully Siri was being nosy & found me this switch at a great price!! The color isnt off too much either, but at this point I wouldn’t have cared if it was neon green with maroon lights, as long as it worked. ... show more
