  • A semi-assembled 8 string guitar
Size: 8 String Color: Purple
This is like a kit guitar that was assembled and it is up to you to finish it. This is a great price for the components of an 8 String guitar: multi-scale, resonant body, independent string bridges, figured maple fretboard, glow in the dark dot markers, good pickups, and full sized pots. But…the cost savings is there is no finishing work or quality control. Be ready to do some extensive finishing or send to a shop: - fret ends stick out, are sharp, and some are lifted. - missing screws in the bridge and some were very loose - significant tool marks on the upper frets, strings get caught in the sharp edges - Cavities in the body are rough cut with splinters - Nut is not cut properly - 8th string is the same thickness as the 7th string, so won’t get to F# - the edge of the finish is very feathery - no strap buttons If you can do all of the work yourself, this is a great value. If you can’t, you are better off buying an 8 string from a larger manufacturer that will finish the guitar. ... show more

  • Awesome neck on the 7-string.
Size: 7 String Color: Matte Black
This guitar has one of the most comfortable necks you could find on a 7-string. It is wide, chunky, and not sticky. The fret ends are rounded but the frets are scratchy and need to be polished. The pickups possess a unique clarity and will not require replacement. The pots are fullsized 500k and the knobs are smooth in action. The body is a bit chunky but comfortable enough to play. It will need a set up but once done, it makes you pick it up over and over again. Edit: I've bought the 7, 8, and 6 string versions of this guitar. The 7 string was the best: just needed a fret polish. The 8 string had fret sprout, and the 6 string was terrible: scratchy frets with sprouting, scratched up pickups and hardware, and a warped neck. If you don't have Luthier skills, stay away from these until the quality improves. ... show more

  • The worst guitar I’ve ever seen or played
Size: 8 String Color: Pink
This guitar had absolutely no quality checks. If it did, then the checker should be fired. This guitar was absolutely unplayable, and unfixable within reason. The pickups were fixed in place, and would not move up or down. They were too far from the strings to have any real definition and made the guitar sound weak. No tools came with it, even though you need several different sized hex keys to move or adjust anything. The truss rod would not move beyond a certain point which made it impossible to fix the neck bow. There was a screw that went right through the truss rod hole as well. The volume and tone knobs couldn’t be removed, and would get stuck when turning. Some frets were dead. Other frets weren’t even fully seated. The input jack was hard to insert a cable into almost as if it was too small. You have to cram your fingers in the cut out for tuners to even tune the high e string. Some of the tuners were grinding on each other too from being too close. From top to bottom this guitar was slammed with horrible quality. There are plenty of other guitars in this price range that don’t even begin to have the same quality issues. Please do not buy this guitar. If you’re budget is $500ish, then look elsewhere. You should not have to spend that on this guitar just to have to spend another several hundred dollars to fix quality issues that shouldn’t even exist. Stop selling this absolute trash. ... show more

  • Great 8 string headless guitar for a great price!!
I love the pickups it didn’t come with strap locks though the fretboard plays great great for shredding metal and also great for clean jazz arpeggio sweeps as well

  • Arrived warped
This guitar arrived warped, making it nearly unplayable below the 12th fret. It also arrived in styrofoam wrapped in tape - there was no box. The return process was not easy. Don't waste your money.
