Over the past 3 years, I've had a front row seat to Joanne Jung's work on this Christmas reader. We interacted over each and every one of the entries as she thought them up and wrote them out, so I know how much of her heart is in each one. This isn't a run-of-the-mill children's book with watered down paraphrases and fancifications of the most famous (and sometimes fabricated) Gospel birth narratives. These are deep contextual and theological reflections on many of the wondrous realities of Jesus' first coming. You'll get academic-level insights, succinctly distilled into very readable, but no less profound accounts.
