Let me say I absolutely love Hayabusa gloves and have never had a bad experience with any of their gear or their customer service. Unfortunately, when it was time for me to buy a new pair for sparring, I wanted 16oz black gloves, and the original T3s were sold out. So I spent a little extra and ordered thud version in all black. I'm glad I did! These are even BETTER. The fit is instantly perfect, and the protection is still second to none. The best thing is that these aren't quite as bulky. The originals in 16oz feel a little bit like giant marshmallows. These are streamlined and sleek. The leather feel is like nothing else. The other T3s take a decent time frame to break in. These feel 100% perfect from the very first time. If you have wondered about buying these over the original, this comment is for you. Buy them. You won't regret it. Just like the originals made it impossible for me to go back to run of the mill gloves. These will be my new go to. ... show more

This is the first ever pair of gloves I bought (14oz). I'm not a professional boxer but seems little bit light weight and soft to me. There seems to be bit of a blade issue check the red circle. Overall quality, I would say very good but not excellent. From size prospective I'm 5.7 Ft and there is much room in the glove so you may want to get hand wrap to get the most out of the glove. Good wrist protection and you can tight as much as you want unless you are too skinny and I would recommend for pro or recreational boxing. Was finally able to get back into boxing after taking almost 5 years off. Got my first 3 rounds of sparring in with these...and they're awesome to use. They have a snug fit and amazing wrist support and feel during sparring. Can even be used for some bag work honestly, as I went with the 16oz. I will say that they're a tight fit, and I have small hands, I hope they do loosen up after a couple months of use. As well, the pink shade is awesome. ... show more

Each of those four stars accounts for high quality and durable leather, fantastic fit throughout, and impeccable support and protection for both wrists and thumbs. I took off one star simply because the double strap makes putting on your second glove darn near impossible without assistance. Still a great product and they should easily last years with regular use (assuming you clean and condition them as needed).     • Best Hayabusa gloves available—Hayabusa protection without the usual stiffness

These gloves are the cream of the Hayabusa crop. They have the unrivaled wrist support of Hayabusa without the characteristic stiffness that makes for poor bag work feedback and annoyed sparring partners. The leather is top notch like it is in the T3 LX however the padding is much better and less stiff, and very similar in feel to Cleto Reyes. In fact they feel more like Cleto Reyes than any other Hayabusa glove, with the main differences being 1) smaller finger pocket (“Japanese” style) and 2) the usual hayabusa wrist support. This is consistent across all sizes, from 10-16 oz. If you have big hands, this may not fit you and you may be better off w Cleto Reyes. I have small hands and they fit very snug. ... show more
