On an HW97K the scope ring does not elevate the scope enough for it to be viable, so I had to order a high profile scope ring instead. the Hawke Sport Optics Airmax EV 4-12x40AO AMX Riflescope is super clear optic, wide field of view and seems to be incredibly light gathering. I will certainly obtain more of this model for my higher caliber airguns. Highly recommend this scope for use on high power airguns

Got this on my gamo urban. I’m not the richest guy around so I was looking for a scope that was decent. As soon as I looked through this scope I was blown away how clear it was and how crisp it is. For a airgun hint the AirMax name to me is the best scope for airguns if you’re like me and can’t spend 1,000 dollars on a element scope. The light transmission is just as good as my 50 mm vortex and I’m being totally honest. So if your hunting early morning or late evening it’s a great choice. ... show more

This piece of glass gets it done for a budget not cheap scope for air-gunning I would recommend this. Crystal clear view easy adjustable zoom very smooth and easy to dial in to get the scope zeroed. Only downfall there’s no dials so you’ll need to tape the correct measurements on the scope or record it somewhere ... show more

    • Great repeatability, quick to zero
This optic replaced the OEM that came with a Gamo springer. Very repeatable, tightened groups and very clear at all magnifications. The rings that accompanied the scope were not used, even after working on the clamps the rings were canted to the receiver. Installed the scope in the original mount that came with the rifle, and after two groupings had the scope zeroed. So far has maintained repeatability and stood up to the shock of the spring cycling. ... show more

This is a great little airgun scope! The body tube feels solid and strong. The finish is great and mounting up several different rings hasn't marred it at all. The AMX Reticle is great for hold-over and hold-under. Paralax adjustment range is great. The zoom is just about all I need for any airgun shooting I do. I love this scope! The only complaint I might have is that the range and paralax knobs are a bit stiff but this is not at all a real problem. The rings are fine but did leave some adhesive on the scope body after being replaced. ... show more
