This Hawaiian Tropic After Sun Body Butter is absolutely AMAZING. The scent is tropical, clean, bright, and honestly one of my favorite summer scents I’ve ever used. It has this light fruity pineapple and coconut type fragrance that smells so fresh and inviting without being overpowering. I genuinely look forward to putting it on after being out in the sun because the smell instantly makes me feel like I’m on vacation. I love it so much that I would absolutely repurchase it again and again just for the scent alone. The formula itself is also really nice and hydrating. Since it’s a body butter, it does go on feeling rich at first, but it absorbs into the skin much better than I expected and doesn’t leave my clothes feeling greasy. My skin feels soft, moisturized, and refreshed after using it, especially after a long day in the sun. A little bit goes a long way, so the container lasts longer than you’d think. Hawaiian Tropic After Sun Butter is moisturizing without leaving the skin oily. I haven’t used it for its professed purpose, but it certainly works as a general moisturizer. It falls a bit short on fragrance which does not smell like coconut to my nose. It does smell something, not exactly pleasant at first, but that smell seems to diffuse. Title says it all. Smells nothing in the slightest to any coconut I have ever smelled. On my skin though, it settles and it’s a very artificial, lab created coconut. Eventually, thankfully, the smell completely fades. It’s an amazing moisturizer. I gave it a chance and it’s been really great for my skin. Hydrates and leaves a nice sheen on me.
