I just had a baby, and I got this to start as an organizer of newborn baby items. Diapers, wipes, swaddles, burp cloths, and onesies. I wanted an extra set of these things in my bedroom instead of just the nursery. I intend to later use it as a toy storage for the babies toys. Really pleased with the quality and amount of stuff you can put in this organizer. It's relatively sturdy with all of the hooks at the top and the rods in the back, but I wouldn't get it to store super heavy items. I bought this to put my son's stuffed animals in. He is a newborn and doesn't really have any use for them yet, but keeps getting gifted stuffies from family. I didn't want to hang a corner wall net, and I wanted them to be within easy reach if/when he does eventually want them. I bought some command hooks and stuck this to the wall of the nursery rather than hang it over the door, but I overall really like the design and usefulness of this item. I have to admit I have been unsure what to do with the little reinforcing rods that came with this. The instructions are confusing and unclear and I figured it out by looking at other reviews on here. This organizer is very light and sturdy. It is intuitive when hanging. I had it hanging on the door within ONE MINUTE of opening the box. This will be very helpful for all your storage needs. It will be adaptable for many different uses, it is demonstrated holding a hat collection as well as stuffed animals. I have many gift bags that are at risk of being wrinkled. This is great for my daughter's bedroom. Listen, we are totally overrun with stuffed animals in my house. My daughter's room has a net over her bed, a toy chest, a tall long net hanging from the ceiling and a couple of storage bags under her bed all filled with various sizes of stuffed animals. We recently donated a chunk and still manage to find places for them all. This over the door net fill fit most of her medium to small stuffed animals while also keeping them accessible to her when she wants to play with them. The only ones she can't get out are the ones in the pockets towards the top, because this covers the whole door and she's 7 and cannot reach that high. We were looking for something to put our sons stuffed animal in, he doesn't have a ton of them but they seem to end up all over the room. This will help keep them put away and declutter is room. It has mesh pockets that stretch out to hold items. There is a flexible small pole, similar to the type they use for tents now, that you fit into the back slots for them. The slots were initially a bit tight making me think that they accidentally sewed them close, but after rechecking was able to assemble this. Once you have the support 'poles' in, you ready to hang it on the door. There are four narrow metal hooks for this. They are designed a way to apply pressure on the backside of the hook against the door. It's not bad but I do worry that if it gets slid across or carelessly moved, it may scratch the paint on the door. My daughter is OBSESSED with stuffed animals and we've tried SO many different methods of organization. No matter what we've tried though, they always seem to end up in a mess on the floor. I saw this over-the-door organizer though and knew we had to give it a try - this seemed like the PERFECT solution - AND IT IS! Not only was it easy to assemble and fairly well made, but she was able to stuff ALL of her stuffies inside this organizer (you can see, there are even some fairly large squishmallows in there!) She LOVES that she can see all of her stuffies - so when there is a particular animal that she wants to pull out and play with - she can see it and access it easily, without dumping all of the other stuffed animals out on the floor. Was looking for something to hold my daughters stuffies. This does the job. Easy to hang on the back of the door! Only thing I do not like are the hooks. They make it uneasy to close the door. They have a push back so you have to really pull on the door to close the door. I may end up switching out the hooks but as of now, this does as intended and I would purchase again as this does do what it needs to do. ... show more

I had bought a couple of other options for organizing all our stuffed animals but this was the the option that really solved our problem. Takes like three minutes to insert the structural rods and hang it over the door with the included hooks. No nails, screws, or adhesive.
