A player wearing the Cursed Ring can't win the game while wearing it! I’m giving this 4 stars…games overall are so cheaply made. We I had this when I was little and I remember it being made so much better. . I’m sure it won’t last long but the little girls love the game. Even daddy got to play and wear the crown. My 6 year old daughter loves this game. We have a great time racing around the board to get all of our princess pieces, especially the crown! It's a very easy, enjoyable game, and the villian ring adds to the fun. I did notice, however, that the board doesn't necessarily stay together (like other people mentioned) but it doesn't bother us at all. I also saw in some reviews that people didn't like the way the jewerly looked. The pieces weren't an eye sore at all. I felt they still looked cute; but for a quick added dazzle, I bought some jewels and pearl stickers out of the dollar store craft section.
