  • Learning Curve
You definitely have to play it a lot to get used to it. At first it seems nearly impossible to land the guy. After playing for hours I could land the guy at least 3 out of 4 tries. I got this for my 6 year old niece and nephew but they didnโ€™t have the patience. My sister, brother in law and myself played it quite a bit though. ... show more

  • Also great for a sensory seeker toy.
Can't have too many of these, our daughter loves them, has a nice collection. She is a sensory seeker, and loves to twirl the gymnastics guy by hand, as well pushes the big red button repetitively. Her favorite thing is the sound, and feel of the gymnastics guy, the spring load sound, and the sound it makes when the toy guy goes back and forth as she flips it back and forth. She also loves the item for the original idea the spin around motion and jump off motion. Not easy to find these except on line now a days. ... show more

  • If you want the original box the game comes in get the "standard packaging" option, otherwise it comes in a regular brown box
A lot of people are complaining about the game coming in just a regular brown cardboard box, I hate to tell you but that's your fault! Not the games fault and not really Amazons fault either. Read and research what you are buying folks. Either pay more for the standard packaging or pay less and save the planet somehow, regardless, you have to look at what you are getting into... you failed to do so, so maybe you as a shopper should be rated one star. Haha just joking folks. But don't blame non-sentient games for your mistake. Next, when I got the game I was extremely vexed. I put it all together, clipped the gymnast dude(I'm going to call him Kahn from now on) into the bar and put in some batteries and then tried to figure out which way was on and off, pressed the yellow button and nothing happened. Took everything apart, voltage tested the batteries, put everything back together and nothing. Got pissed off, decided to return the game, went through that whole thing, got pissed off at that and decided to try to get the game to work one more time. Tried one more time and it still didn't work. Went and googled it, found a troubleshooting guide that said to detach Kahn from the bar get a paper clip and press down on the metal contacts on each hand a few times, did that, clipped Kahn back to the bar and it started working. I was able to get Kahn to land on my 8th try. It's hard, but that's kind of the point. Should be fun for adults too if you make it competitive and add drinking. I own Loopin' Louie and Coconuts which are children's games that adults enjoy. I think I can add Fantastic Gymnastics to that group. ... show more

  • Fun activity for small groups
Fun little gadget with a steep learning curve. Hard to have as a multiplayer game if not everyone has practiced with it.

  • Fun game but a bit tricky for the younger ones!
This game is actually really fun to play BUT it's a bit tricky to get him to release off of the bar. We have had this game for a few months and my son STILL has not been able to release him from the bar. You have to hit the button at the EXACT right time for him to come flying off. It's a super fun game for the whole family but it takes a little practice to get used to it!! ... show more

  • Fun but hard to do

  • So fun
This game is addicting and seriously for any age. Kids and adults both played it at our family get together.

  • Surprisingly addictive
Two child free adults in our mid-thirties, bought this one random day after remembering an old commercial. Have spent more time than Iโ€™d like to admit - sober and not - playing this game. Itโ€™s a big hit when guests come over too. Never thought Iโ€™d like this stupid game, yet here I am giving it a 5 star review. ... show more
