Buyers heed comments from other reviews on downsizing. For me, a 1/2 size smaller fit feet. They are comfy but the biggest no, no for me is the slightly raised curved Heel design. I too experienced the Ankle titling if moving at a fast pace or don't were Heels that often. They grip well and my foot came out of the Shoe as this was happening. I like them. I think I should have ordered my exact size but I went up a half size because of the reviews. They are comfortable to wear and can be worn with casual or dressy clothes. I usually wear a 5.5 but as this is an open back sandal, I ordered a size 5. It fit perfectly with no overhang. This is a trick I learned while in Japan for a good fit. The style is great; was worried that the heel is 2" and maybe too high for a senior, but it's OK as the front is also slightly raised. Super comfortable but there is foot overhang on the sides, they are pretty narrow but not tight. Very fashionable and obviously breathable but they still retain some heat so my feet do sweat.
