I have Rydstrand bamboo installed recently, which replace my mahogany floors. Bamboo overall is easier to maintain. I bought a highly reviewed bamboo floor cleaner which initially did a great job. Bruce Hardwood & Laminate Floor Cleaner is getting more difficult to find, and that isn't because it doesn't work well. No, Bona simply has better product placement and advertising. I much prefer Bruce to Bona because it leaves my wood looking cleaner, with no streaks. It dries quickly and can be used with Swiffers and even the Bissell Spinwave if you don't want to get on your hands and knees. After purchasing a house with laminated flooring, I have tried numerous products to clean the floors. I spent a lot of money and time trying to get a clean, streak free look but was frustrated that the floors looked worse than when I started. I got my order of Bruce's cleaner and spent 3 hours this morning cleaning the wood floors. It was easy to spray the cleaner and immediately mop with my microfiber mop in small sections. I’ve tried everything from alcohol to vinegar to swiffer, to plain water, to hot water and this is the best so far. Yes it leaves a bit of a haze but everything and every method even steam mop I try leaves a haze. My house keeper suggested this and she said that’s what she uses. But somehow when she uses it on my floors it doesn’t leave a haze. We can’t communicate clearly bc I don’t speak her language and she doesn’t speak mine.
