I used this to run new hot water supply lines to all my fixtures from the copper manifold. This worked excellent, I'll never go back to copper. This is so easy to use and connect to fittings. I used the pipe cutter that came in the box with the tubing and it worked perfectly. It's so easy to run my lines with the tubing's flexibility.     • OD is larger than other PEX, crimp rings barely fit.
Be careful ordering this PEX. The OD is slightly larger than any other PEX, so crimp fittings barely fit. In order to get standard crimp rings to fit, I've had to hammer them on with a block of wood, press them against a hard surface, or use soap to slide them on. The best trick I've found is to use a scrap of 3/4" pex as a seating tool for the crimp ring. The upside is that you can crimp easily, because the ring doesn't move once you set it, so no missed crimps. I only found out about the OD issue after running 200 feet of pipe and didn't want to pull it out to replace with a different brand. If I would have discovered the issue before, I would have returned this product and used somethinge else, because I really dreaded any crimping. In spite of that, the PEX is high quality, comparable to Sharkbite or any other brand you may use. However, if you're crimping, I'd encourage you to choose a different brand. ... show more
