This is my second set and the first set lasted way longer than I expected. I mount and balance my own tires and these tires in every case take little to no weight to get a perfect balance. I said in almost every way because the sidewall is a little thin, however, it does not seem to affect the handling characteristics so that is not a major concern but still a concern. ... show more

    • Tires, OK. Installation service really bad
Tires are OK, no complaints about them, but the installation service in Pap Boys was really bad. Pep Boys I had my appointment to replace two tires for last Wednesday (doble check: text and Amazon app) I got there and they tell me that my appointment was for the day before, Tuesday. I show them the messages but there is no way and I have to reschedule for Saturday at 9:30 am. On Saturday I am on time. Everything OK. It is supposed to take about one hour. They tell me: ok, sir, we will take care of your care in an about one hour and the service will take another 45 minutes. This is not ONE hour, but it’s ok. At 11:15 they tell me that two studs were broken when they were trying to take the wheel off (I can understand, things like this happen). They tell me that there are two options: they can replace the studs or I will need a tow service. Obviously the best opción is to replace them and to finish the work. I ask for the price: $130 for two nuts and two studs!!!!!!!! Ok, let’s do it, I just want to go. Three hours later and almost 4:30 hours after my arrival, I can finally leave the place at 2:00 pm Absolutely unacceptable!!!! ... show more

Compared these with tires at Costco. Even with the Costco rebate offered, these come out as a better buy. Haven't purchased Hankook tires before, but so far very pleased with the ride quality.
