The fabric is lightweight and cool. The size is ok, but it's narrow around the bust and thighs. I bought the shirt for riding bikes in the sun. It's perfect for that. It washes well, but of course, it wrinkles. The sleeves are plenty long.

I was so looking forward to getting this shirt. It's hard to find all cotton knit. Cotton knit is usually soft, comfortable and breathable, as well as being stretchy. This fabric wasn't especially soft and comfortable and it barely stretched. It's not a high quality cotton. The arms were really long and narrow. I couldn't get the sleeves on all the way and I always wear a size large. The length of the sleeves would seem to indicate that the shirt was designed for a tall person, but the torso was short. The shirt didn't make it as far as my hips and I'm under 5 feet tall. The width of the shirt was technically correct. However, because it barely stretches it was very constricting when pulling it on, and the head opening was so small that I had to really work to get my head through it. My updo was a wreck by the time I got it over my head. I was disappointed to say the least. I wish Hanes made the quality shirts the way they used to. ... show more

The "deep dive" color is beautiful. I have no complaints, BUT, if you are buying the navy blue, don't get the small size. The sleeves are too tight. I weigh 90 pounds; my arms are so small that they look like sticks. In spite of that, I was almost not able to fit into the sleeves. The rest of the measurements were fine. At first, I had bought a size medium. I liked the loose look of it. I'm buying another in medium in navy, because I can't trust the sleeves on the small. They shrink in the first wash. Keep that in mind. It wrinkled when it comes out of the dryer. Maybe I need to take it out sooner. Generally, I'm very happy with this product. ... show more

Great buy. Well made, soft cotton, and perfect fit. I sized up for a slightly looser fit and to allow for shrinkage. I can wear this shirt by itself, or under a sweater. I like it so much that I ordered 2 more! You can't beat the price for a 100% cotton Hanes shirt.

Love the softness and was happy I sized down so it was my preferred fit. They are nice and warm, but not too warm. Very nice color not see-through great quality for the price doesn't wrinkle too easily. Only wish they had a more variety of colors and neck lines.

I am 5'11", 145lbs, got the medium navy. The arms are too short but the body is the perfect length and the top part is a tiny bit tight. I have a 36B chest, so am not super busty, but the top is still snug in the chest area. I do have broader shoulders for a woman. The top does shrink. I hand washed and lined dry and it shrank, just cuz that's what cotton does, so take that into consideration when you buy. The color is beautiful, a deep, rich navy, and the cotton is nice and substantial. I LOVE that it's an opaque, not see-through top. Remember when like every cotton t-shirt was see-through?? I'll buy this top again in large just for the longer arms. This being the height of summer I'm not bothered that the arms are short, given that the overall construction feels solid. Assuming that the large has longer arms and isn't only bigger in the body! ;) I also really appreciate that I can find a 100% cotton shirt at such a reasonable price. I would like to be able to spend $50 on a t-shirt made in the USA, but that's not my budget right now, and having the option to buy a nice cotton shirt that is in my budget is really helpful. ... show more
