My ex boyfriends mother and I are still friends and let's just say I'm leery of offering to buy her anything online because of how picky she is about things. She also thinks that 20 dollars or more for a shirt is super expensive. So buying her clothes was definitely something I was skeptical about. But i told her i would do some research. I saw the shorts here on Amazon on a buzz feed list of things people had bought and loved off Amazon. So I looked at all the pictures, comments in the reviews, and all the details of what these shorts were made of and decided these shorts might actually be exactly what she wants. Then I saw the price and decided immediately that I would buy her a couple pairs because even if she hated them it wouldnt be a big loss, and if she loved them, then even she would happy to buy herself some more. The verdict is in and she loves everything about them.they fit her perfectly, they are comfortable and these even have pockets where her older shorts didn't. The size chart is true to size. The price is perfect for this item,and the shipping speed was very quick. All my thick thigh ladies! All my weight in the middle ladies! All my I need compression ladies! If you're around 5'7" and around 190-200lb hear me out. I have bought a size XL, L, and yes a M. All in my quest to give some compression, to not ride up my legs, and still be comfortable (as cotton should be). As far as the color I have both Black and Gray. They both fade in the dryer so do not buy for a lovely dark color. It's not happening. My experience : XL was somewhat loose around thighs and waist, and rode up my thighs, but they provided coverage across lower stomach, and were a dream to wear around the house (even after eating or sleeping in them). Large size provided me the same effects plus highlighted curves , but I still needed compression and to not ride up when I wore them outside the house. A size Medium did just that: stomach and thigh compression, minimal ride up, and highlighted curves. But, to sleep in a Medium? Uncomfortable. To expect lower stomach coverage without rolling down during day? Not a chance. To each her/his own though. For me, at this price point, different sizes suited different needs for me. At the end of all washing and drying cycles, they all faded, shrunk a little, but retained shape well, and were same leg length. These are my go to pajama shorts, my let me check the mail shorts, my one trip to get some groceries shorts, and my under dresses/no chafing shorts. I'd recommend these for sure. ... show more

Came the next day. Very comfortable. I am 5'1 and 122 lb. Length was right above the knee and the waist was a little loose. I ordered a large but probably needed a medium instead.

I'm a 6'2, 280 lbs., reasonably athletic person with a male body. I got these because I hate that men's workout shorts are always either super boxy and hideous, or they're form-fitting but made of polyester and/or other synthetic materials. These are mostly cotton, and the XL pair I ordered fit my body nicely. Super comfortable and I like the way they look (especially that they show off my butt) . I'd prefer if the seam didn't run directly up the middle, as that basically bifurcates my boy bits, but it's a minor annoyance. ... show more
