It shrank a little bit after washing and drying on low heat, but I actually prefer the fit better now (wearing it after wash in photos). If you want a baggy fit, maybe size up. I am 5 foot 3 and 130 pounds. Sweatshirts are always too long for me, but this one sits perfect. It is slightly fuzzy on inside and keeps me warm but not overheated, it's a light sweatshirt. I really like the neckline, it's more flattering than guy type sweatshirts, bigger opening. The thing I wish it had was a buttery soft feeling on outside. I think it's kinda stiff and doesn't give. For example, it's tough to raise the sleeves to wash my hands. But, I like the style so much I wear it at least once a week to the gym and around the house. I ordered two of these in small at the same time--Aqua and pink. The Aqua one came right away and was definitely a small, very small. I can wear it, but it is snug in the arms, and they do not stretch. It is fine for around the house. The pink one came much later, and fit perfect with a little extra room in the arms. They are both soft and they have not shrunk after washing and drying. So, I'm not sure if they came from two different places or what. I’m a medium, always a medium. I ordered a large because some reviews suggested you size up. Sizing up did not help. This sweatshirt runs very wide and boxy, and short in length. If you’re petite person it might fit you perfectly. Or if you’re very short wasted person, you might appreciate this particular sweatshirt. The weight was, I would say, middleweight. It’s not thick and cozy and warm, but not too thin so it’s good for mild weather like San Diego or spring evenings when it’s still a chilly out. I have three of these sweatshirts & the one thing that stands out for me is how surprisingly warm & cozy they are . I have other sweaters but except for one that is very bulky these beat them all for warmth & comfort & they’re really not that thick but they keep my body heat in somehow that other clothing cannot . I also have the sweatpants & they’re just the same way , lovely feeling . As far as fit they’re on the boxy side & are a mid length just as pictured . I do like the fit because its not tight around my hips & butt , so no tugging & pulling down throughout my day - I like that .
