Comfortable but Not Quite Perfect I’ve worn Henley shirts for years, and I was looking forward to trying out this Hanes Beefy Long Sleeve 3-Button version. The fabric does live up to the “beefy” name—it feels solid, has a nice weight to it, and gives a bit of warmth that makes it good for cooler evenings. The cut is classic and casual, easy to pair with jeans or joggers. That said, I found the fit just a little off. The shoulders and sleeves feel slightly boxy compared to other Henleys I’ve worn, and the buttons don’t sit as flat as I’d like. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it makes the shirt feel more basic than polished. The fabric also holds heat, which is great in winter but can feel heavy if you wear it indoors or in milder weather. On the plus side, the stitching looks strong and the shirt has held up fine after washes with no shrinking or fading. It feels like a shirt that will last a while without wearing thin. Bottom line: A good everyday Henley with sturdy fabric and casual style, but the fit and heaviness may not make it everyone’s first choice.

I wore and washed my Beefyt Henley cotton shirt multiple times. It fits me great and is warm and soft. I believe it is quality made. The sleeves are long enough and do not shrink when washed. Very nice shirt for the price.

These are nice long sleeve shirts. Needed something 'in-between' summer and full winter weight. These are great for Fall days with no jacket and will be a good layer for the cooler days to come. Not as 'heavy' as I thought it would be given the title but a good mid-weight fabric. Going to watch how they wash due to some reviews about fraying seams but so far (two washings) the both are fine. Great for daily wear and dressy enough for a casual dinner. One note/concern; they tend to run small on the sizes. I ordered medium like all my other shirts and they were too tight across the chest. Exchanged them for large and it was much better fit. Order a size LARGER than your normal size and you will be happy with the fit.

Update: Seams unraveled at the end of the day and the hem fell apart. I’m quite happy with this shirt. I bought the red in a size small and the color is pretty much as shown in the picture. The material is thick and comfortable. I’m a short and slender guy at 5’5” (165 cm) and 121 lbs (55.1 kg). This fits nicely on my body. It is a tad long, but that is to be expected for someone as short as me.

My husband is 6’3” and about 250 lbs. this shirt is plenty long and sleeves were a good length. It seems to be an excellent quality material nice and thick. He said it was very warm. And very comfortable to wear. Uncertain about shrinking as I haven’t washed yet. Was a terrific price.
