These shorts slipped on easily, being true to size. The charcoal heather has an attractive depth of tone that will match up easily with many of the t-shirts I own. This pair has a 50/50 fabric combination of cotton/polyester, which gives a comfortable fit. The elastic has a fair amount of stretch, making it easy for on/off, but staying in place once on with movement. I appreciate comfort and this would be the description I give for this pair of shorts. It's getting hard to find cotton shorts anymore. All the sports shorts I find are made out of synthetic. I actually use these for working around the yard or lounging around the house in the evening. I just want something comfortable that is also made of cotton. The elastic last a very long time, I have several pairs that are more than 5 years old and the waistbands are still fine.
