This is exactly the light weight robe I was looking for. It's warm and humid during the Houston summers and this is light enough to wear comfortably on the porch at night. It seems to be very well made and was pretty soft and comfortable after the first wash and even better after the second. Well worth it. It is a little large - I ordered the 2X/Long and I'd normally wear a 1X but I wanted it loose and this is fine for me. Love it. ... show more

I like this robe. I'm from Georgia, and summers are hot. I wanted something light to wear around the house on lazy weekend mornings and this works. The GOOD: It is light and comfortable. The XL is mondo, as I'm 6'2" and weight 240 and this fits no problem. The sleeves are a bit above the wrists, and the hem hits a few inches below the knee (Both of which are fine for me). The MEDIOCRE: The material is similar to that of a men's dress shirt, so not a comfortable cotton; it's better after being washed. There is a collar that goes the length of the robe that is a pure pain to align correctly; I may have to put a stitch or two in that to make it tolerable. Finally, the overall impression is "hospital gown." Not a terrible thing, but still... be prepared. The BAD: none that I have found. I would purchase again primarily because I haven't found other options and this works. ... show more

My dad absolutely loves this robe! It's nice and light weight, nice cotton fabric. Very well made. It looks like it will hold up nicely. I got an XXL for my pops, he has long arms and likes robes loose. The sleeves are longer than an average robe which is great with his long arms. When he holds his arms out straight the sleeves do not raise up his arm. The length is also good on his legs not too short or too long! Will buy another when they come back in stock. ... show more

Got this a little late due to shipping issues but it came just in time to enjoy. The material is very thin which is great for summer and cozy enough to wear over flannel pajamas in the winter. Bought a size larger to wrapped up in it but noticed the arms were too big. Not a big problem still works fine. ... show more

    • Horrible! Will turn everything you wash it with a dingy Grey!!
Awful! I haven't had an article of clothing with dye that runs like this thing, in decades! I can't afford the time to sort every article of wash into a dozen different piles so things (except dress shirts) more or less, "live" in the wash together. That was never a problem until I added this to the pile for an initial wash before I used it. Everything, including white dishcloths and a few favorite lighter color sweatshirts came out of the wash looking an awful, dingy, dark grey! The sweatshirts and dishcloths are back in the wash with a lot of bleach for another round to see if they can be salvaged. I was quite surprised actually, because I've had several of these robes, and there was never a problem...only difference had been, they were plaid. I have no idea what 3rd-world cheap dye they used on this, however I would highly recommend that you find something else. If I weren't in dire need of a robe, I'd send it back now. As is, I'm going to wash it a few more times to see if it stops "running", else it either goes back to Amazon, or in the trash. It wasn't terribly expensive, but it wasn't Dollar-Store cheap either. ... show more
