These Hanes Men's Beefy-t Pocket T-shirts (2-pack, X-Large) are exactly what my husband needed for everyday wear, and honestly, they're great! I got them because he likes sturdy, no-fuss tees that don't fall apart after a few washes, and these deliver. The colors are nice (We got them in every color available except white)—not too bright, not too dark—looks sharp on him and hasn't faded at all after several trips through the laundry (cold wash). They're heavyweight like the name says (that 6.1 oz cotton feels solid and thick), but still comfy and soft even right out of the package (but I recommend washing all new clothing before wearing). After one wash, they get even better—broken-in without shrinking much at all. The full-cut fit is roomy in the chest and arms (perfect for my guy who's not super slim), and the left chest pocket is handy. There's no weird tightness around the neck or sleeves, and the stitching seems strong—shoulder-to-shoulder taping and double-needle hems mean they hold their shape well. The 2-pack is a solid deal too; two good shirts for the price. Only tiny thing: They're definitely on the thicker side, so if you want something super lightweight for hot summer days, these might feel a bit substantial. But for year-round casual stuff? Spot on. These pocket t-shirts are a very nice weight. The fabric seems sturdy like it should hold up and keep its shape through a lot of washings. They wash and dry well. They fit as expected. The navy color is attractive and dark enough to hide any work, grease stains. The fabric is also reasonably soft to the touch. Medium is more like a small. Especially after washing, it’s even tighter. It’s longer as a medium but the size around is like a small. Great price and nice thick cotton quality, but order a size up.

These are the best tee shirts I have bought short of being a Carhartt. (On sale @ 2 for $11.00) These tees are at least made of USA cotton, and the pocket is large enough to hold a mechanical pencil. The fabric is soft and heavier than "big box" store tees. Another plus is the tails are long enough to stay tucked in. I am 6"2" tall, 190 pounds and I ordered XL. A large would have been big enough, but they will probably shrink some in the laundry, so I'm good with this size. All pros, no cons. I recommend these tee shirts. These are great t-shirts, truly soft heavyweight cotton. I got the two-pack L in red and M in green. The price is unbeatable, $12 for 2 shirts. They are 100% cotton so they do shrink after washing and drying. The L went from 29.5" in length to 28", and 22" at the shoulders to 21". The M went from 28" in length to 27", and 19" at the shoulder to 18". Very happy with this purchase. ... show more

The fabric on the Hanes Beefy-T is great! It is definitely a heavyweight material and very soft. The construction looks like it is well made. Definitely a good quality shirt. I purchased the XXL for my husband who is 6'3". The shirts look like they are as wide as they are long. Unfortunately I chose to return them because I felt they were too short. If the shirt came in a Tall version this would have been a good purchase for me. The shirts say they are 100% Preshrunk Cotton but I didn't want to take the chance that I might lose some length. ... show more
