Anybody who buys sweatpants at this price ought to know that there are things that must be overlooked; in the case of length the Hanes has fit me perfectly. Pockets: here is another case where I may differ from most buyers, smaller pockets suit me; they are smaller than one usually gets with sweatpants in this price range. Comfort and softness will not be rated by me as I could care less about these features if in fact they are anyone's concern at all. The waistband has above normal elasticity, which is a big concern for me. They are perfect for PJ bottoms without the crazy plaids and holiday imprints. Because of the PJ use on my part my evaluation of bagginess, which I believe the Hanes EcoSmart Fleece Sweats Open Bottom is trending towards I am well satisfied. I have seen a trend toward a tapered leg. I favor the baggyesque and could stand to live with S-pants that are baggier than I would like but with these they are not outside the range of living with something that is not peculiar to one's personal taste. The price is exceptionally low for my needs. As a brief autobiographical note: I bring this up because of the anonymity of this review. These are absolutely superb sweatpants. They’re warm, comfortable, look good & @$9 each a tremendous value. I like comfort so I ordered the 2xl size which is perfect for my body . I’m tall, weigh about 220lbs most days (except after a pizza delivery) but you get the point? The length is just right for my 34” inseam size. After trying them on, I immediately ordered two more pair to get me through the winter. That should tell you something. ... show more

I was looking for sweatpants for my husband that could easily slip over his feet as he is disabled and I dress him. These EcoSmart fleece sweatpants with the open bottoms have smaller leg openings that a wideleg or straightleg pant, but they are not quite a peg-leg or slim fit either. I purchased 2 pairs of size small, which is his normal size and they are a bit snug after washing. If you want a roomy fit, I'd definitely size up as there is a slight amount of shrinkage. The length of the pants is great, working well for his 5'7" frame. The fabric is stretchy, but not thin. These are midweight sweatpants that hold their shape after washing and drying. They have a drawstring waist and deep pockets. They were an excellent buy when I purchased them. If I did it again, I'd size up to a medium, but the quality is very good. My husband likes the way they feel on him, and I can get them over his size 11 feet and pulled up, so I guess we both are happy with this purchase. ... show more

Great fit and true to size. Very happy with purchase. Pockets are nice but could be a bit deeper but work non the less. Comfortable and warm, will be nice this winter here in the upper midwest. Can't beat these for $9 . Would recommend.

These are great. I bought a pair because I liked the price, so I bought two more after I wore them. Comfy, roomy, warm, fuzzy, pockets. I normally wear the red flannel check'd lounge pants, but they started to annoy me because you see people wearing them at airports and I've grown to develop a negative view of them, in my mind they look lazy. Very strange length in these sweatpants. Seriously, the xl had about 5-6 extra inches on the legs over what would be a normal length on the pants. It was like they were made for someone 6’5” or some other giant. Otherwise they are comfortable enough. Probably returning them if I want to wear them outside the house and so as not look like I can’t dress myself like an adult. Quality 50/50. Strictness is good. Weight is medium. For the price, one might assume these sweat pants, and associated top I bought at the same time, are low quality. That is not the case! They're well made with neatly sewn seams, and fit well.
