I have a friend who wants to learn to tat. I ordered the DVD for her. I shuttle tat as well as needle tat but prefer needle tatting as it is much easier to corredt mistakes when needle tatting.     • Nice advice but not a new dvd, old footage in a sealed dvd
I was thrilled to get this,DVD becaue I am an ardent needle tatter. But it seemed that it was created in the late 1980s it seemed, and I actually fell asleep not once twice! So I say it needs updating.... But if you have no other outlet to learn BUY IT. It does have great help for split rings. This is hard info to find so I say BUY IT and gift it to others so we can make a needle tatting comeback! sincerely G B ... show more

I learned needle tatting a while back but forgot a lot of it. This was just the thing I needed to refresh my memory. In my opinion, needle tatting is vastly easier than shuttle tatting. Never could get the hang of wielding that silly shuttle.

    • Great instructional video
Love this video. It is clear and easy to see what is being done. I was having trouble with one technique so I just went back a couple of times until I found my mistake and it worked beautifully. Would recommend this video to all beginners.
