My husband got one of these at the mall for twice the price. I decided to get one after watching him make his. Thought it would be fun doing something together. Found this one and I thought it was so cute and a lot Cheaper than what he paid for at the mall. It is a very skilled craft you need to glue, paint, cut out, and put together very small pieces. I don’t really recommend this for young kids, but it’s perfect for adults. It comes with most of the stuff you will need to make this. I do wish it came with some extra pieces because some of them are very breakable. As a person who loves crafts I will definitely be buying another one soon! ... show more

I thought this was gonna be as complex as a 500-pc Lego set, but turned out it's a full blown arts-n-craft project, where you basically have to build everything from scratch, from painting/gluing just about all the wooden pieces to wiring the tiny LEDs. This was definitely way more work than anticipated and wish the seller had made that abundantly clear up front. Maybe one day I'll get around to putting this thing together cuz the end product does look adorable, but more likely I'll just give it away to someone who's really into this kinda stuff. ... show more

I like making miniatures and received this kit as a gift. It’s fun to make but don’t expect quick results - it takes some time to put everything together. This is the second miniature I bought. The first was great and easy, this one is frustrating, the drawings are not good enough so it makes it difficult to understand what to do. The Hands Craft DIY 3D Model Craft Kit | DIY Miniature Dollhouse Kit | Transparent Display | LED Lights | Kid is a small model with a lot of detail in it. The kit come with everything including glue, batteries, paint and some of the tools you need to put it together.There is a list of the tools you need to provide so you can get everything organized before you get started. You make everything except the base and the acrylic tube and the rabbit. There is a very detailed instruction booklet that guides you through making everything step by step. At the beginning of each step there is a little list of all the parts you need for that piece and which bag of parts they are in. There are pictures for every step as well for easy reference. They tell you which pieces to paint and what colors to use. They even tell you when you need to apply two coats of paint for better coverage. All the parts are nice quality so your little world will look good when you are finished. This little kit will teach you a lot about how to build miniature things and will look really attractive after you have put the time and effort into building it. ... show more

I received this as a gift. I do crafts all the time but this is way too complicated for the lousy instructions. I'm having to rig things that aren't explained at all. I'll be surprised if I ever get it finished, I've been working on it for weeks now.

I loved working on this miniature. It had such a funky and fun vibe. It was definitely challenging and requires a lot of patience at times, but I love it. I only had trouble when it came time to put the clear cylinder on and it wouldn't fit right. I had to go back and try to make some adjustments to her it to fit better, but I was able to make it work OK. Word of advice: check the fit of the clear cylinder as you build up the levels so it's easier to adjust if needed before everything is set good. I also made some additions or adjustments here and there and customized some of the painting to make it a little more interesting in certain areas. I thought the bathtub needed some extra stuff, so I added there and altered the hand rails in the little stair. I did some more painting details with the base too. I really had fun with this one and I already bought another in this series. ... show more
