Starting off with the good. The device does work, and does have 100 games on it (though you probably have to have a loose definition of what game means). The screen is nice and bright and backlit. Also, the games aren't using stolen IP and seem to be original (not the mechanics or anything, there's no new ground tread here, but at least they're not stolen). Honestly if this was $20, I'd say, it's great for kids if you're looking for something to distract them and for some reason don't want to give them a phone or a real system. The games are very VERY bare bones. Minimal mechanics with loose controls. There's a couple as I browsed through that I would willingly play again, so I would consider that a win. The device doesn't feel really well made, but not very poor either just so-so. It charges well and quickly, and the buttons all at least work, though there's some minimal sticking here and there. The sound also doens't seem to really honor the volume dial fully. I mean it does silence, but there's clicks and squeeks that come through as you change games or move around a bit (not the end of the world, but minorly annoying). It all adds up to a lot of little annoyances on top of a poor device to begin with, with no expansion or anything. I'd move on for this price. You'd be better off finding a really old Nintendo handheld.

The games that you get on here are nothing new, but they also are not knock offs of any name brand titles like Mario. It really is just a distraction that can be used for travel and things like that without spending a lot of money on a Switch or other portable device. However, the quality is nowhere near what you would get with a name brand device. It feels like it will hold up for a few trips as long as the kids are not too hard on it. Most of the games I played on it were just okay with only a couple dragging me back in. It feels like the price point is a little high for what you get. I would recommend it as long as you are okay with the above mentioned caveats.

This was a last minute Birthday gift that I grabbed for my three year old granddaughter when I saw it on a lightening deal. So glad I picked this up on a whim. It was her favorite gift and a month later it is still the present she plays with the most! It looks a little generic out of the box but it has held up perfectly! There are so many games to explore and levels to compete that I think it is perfect for kindergarteners to adults. And the price? You can’t beat it! This one was a winner!

As many other reviewers have mentioned, don't expect this to be even close to a modern day, brand name, handheld gaming device. For my young boys (6 and 8 years old), this is not a bad option for them. We do not have a Nintendo Switch or other handheld gaming device, and this item definitely does not compare. But for purposes of occasional, basic entertainment to keep them busy, this is perfectly fine. Especially at the current price. What stands out is the battery life, as it seems to last much longer than I would have expected. Although there are so many games included, there are really only a few which I'd say the kids and I feel are actually decent and fun. A lot of the games are so basic and not well designed that I can't imagine anyone wanting to play them for more than a few minutes.

I'll start by saying that there are a good variety of different games ranging from top down shooters, racing, fighting and puzzle games. I was extremely surprised at the quality of the handheld itself for being a generic handheld. The screen is colorful with good viewing angles. The graphics are indeed 16-bit and look like they could be found on a 16-bit home console. It would have been better if it cut down the amount of games and instead focused on making quality full length games. The 4 face buttons are good quality and have good feedback when pressing. The d-pad is not as good as each direction is a separate button. The overall build quality of it is really good with quality plastic. The mono speaker sounds pretty good and gets fairly loud although the placement is terrible. It's on the back right side of the handheld and gets covered by your hand when you are holding and gets muffled. I really appreciate that this is USB C rechargeable, which makes it even more convenient and pocketable as there are available USB C chargers everywhere. Overall I think this makes a great stocking stuffer for young kids but definitely would not do for experienced and older gamers.
