I think this portable handheld game system is a good introduction to gaming for kids. It’s simple to use and has a nice variety of games organized into different categories, including Puzzle, Action, Education, Table, Sports, and Relax. There are also additional game options when you first turn it on, so there’s a lot for kids to explore. Since it’s mainly geared toward children, I focused mostly on the education games to see how useful they were. A good number of them are flash card style games that help with vocabulary, while others include matching and basic logic games. I liked that it offered some interactive learning instead of just passive screen time. One thing I think makes this especially useful is that it gives kids something dedicated to play on without having to hand over your phone. That can be a much better option when you need to keep them occupied for a bit. Instead of just watching videos, they’re at least interacting with the device and hopefully learning something at the same time. Overall, it’s convenient, easy to use, and a nice option for younger kids who are just getting introduced to handheld games.

I grabbed this handheld game for kids and honestly, it’s way better than I expected for something so simple. It comes preloaded with a bunch of retro style games (like 220 of them), and they’re the old-school type...easy controls, quick levels, and super nostalgic. It’s lightweight and small enough to toss in a backpack or use on car rides, which is great for keeping kids entertained without needing WiFi. The screen and sound are decent but not amazing, but definitely good enough for the price. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because a few games feel kind of repetitive, and the buttons aren’t the most high end. Still, it works well and does exactly what it’s supposed to. Overall, it’s a solid little handheld that kids will actually enjoy and it’s a nice throwback for adults too. Would recommend!

My son absolutely LOVES this device. We got it for his 7th birthday. And added protection plan. He’s always handled it with care, and one day after charging it he went to go play with it, and the screen stopped working. Was like glitchy, as if it was stepped on, dropped, broken, etc. but has never been mishandled. There’s not even one scratch on the device! It has never been dropped, stepped on, or anything. He is so sad! He loved all the games so much. Until the device wouldn’t turn on anymore, we had zero issues and would rate this at a 5! We were even going to get our daughter one. But since I cannot seem to be able to contact seller for replacement, and the added protection plan states it’s under manufacturer warranty (but no contact to manufacturer), I have to give it zero stars. I definitely am looking for something that can function, and if something happens to it the protection plan with replace it without hassle.
