I thought my Christmas tree could use a little more red since most of my ornaments are blue. I liked the style of these, and the fact that it says they’re made of papier mache since I figured they would be lightweight. I also prefer finding ornaments that are not prone to shattering since I have a young daughter who likes to help decorate the tree. I didn’t have a good sense of how big these would be; for some reason I assumed they’d be somewhat miniature but they’re on par in size with what I view as a typical ornament. The designs look just as I expected from what was presented on this page, with darling hand painted images that stand out very well. One ornament had a small spot where some paint had chipped off but overall they look great. There can be slight irregularities in the texture of each ornament which I expected from items made of papier mache. I’ve noticed quite a lot of ornaments can be very heavy, which can make them very difficult to hang on the tree since you need to find a bough that’s strong enough, and even then you need to make sure it’s secured or it could slide off. I’m happy to say these ornaments do not have that issue; they are hollow inside and very lightweight. The strings are some kind of gold-colored thread with a cute red tassel on the end. The thread is quite long so that did end up causing issues here and there. Not all the branches on this year’s tree are spaced enough to accommodate the length of the loops so some of them ended up hiding in the branches below a bit. I think the simple designs on these really make them stand out, and I love the way they look. My daughter immediately noticed the new ornaments on the tree when she got home from school. They are sure to be a cheerful addition to our tree in the coming years; I’d happily recommend these to others.

The product is listed as 4", and they are not 4", only 3". Which was a bummer, because I had planned to display one of them in a decorative orb holder I have that is 4" across, and therefore requires an orb that is at least 4" wide as well, but these won't do. They are otherwise very nice though.

We grabbed a tiny tree on sale last minute and popped it in our dining room. Wanted a few decorations for it, so grabbed these and we think they're VERY nice looking bulbs! Recommended!

I received a set of 6 Christmas balls. They are lightweight and painted very nicely. I removed one star because one of the ornaments you could see an indentation where the halfway mark was around the middle - probably didn't cover that particular one with enough paper. Overall, a nice addition to our Christmas tree.

These papier mache ornaments are lightweight and have a hand-crafted appearance. They would make for a beautiful topping tied onto any wrapped gift. The red and white color theme is particularly suited for either traditional or modern/Scandinavian styles of Christmas trees. A beautiful addition at this time of year.

These are so unique. I love the handmade look. They are durable, sturdy but fragile. The have lots of character. I would buy these again.
